Varian blinked his eyes tiredly. He looked around his bedroom apartment; tiny rays of sunlight peeked through, lighting the room a little bit. Rubbing his face, an arm wrapped itself around his waist. Varian softly smiled and glanced down to see a pale, muscular hand with blue stripes painting the soft skin. As his finger grazed along the marks, a soft glow of blue followed—a canvas of beautiful aurora.

"you and yuji are fated rivals!" Gojo proclaims.

in reality, you guys are just so eerily similar that your personalities clash.

traditionally, you're quite competitive. yuji just says, "sure!"

that's how y'all got in this situation.

you and yuji have both been in the plank position for what feels like an hour, (11 seconds) while everyone stands over you guys, betting on who'll fall first.

"5 says that itadori won't last a minute!" nobara yells out from the side.

he shoots her an offended glance, shifting his weight on his arms.

truthfully, you're already shaking.

"time check...?" yuji breathes out.

megumi looks at the phone timer in his hand, "15 seconds."

"jesus christ..."

you giggle. wrong move, because now your abs are actually on fire.

yuji looks at you, offering a playful smile.

you retort by sticking your tongue out at him.

"lower, y/n." megumi says.

you groan and lower your hips closer to the ground.

you bite your lip hard, and look back up at yuji–who's staring at you, pink hair sticking slightly to his forehead, messy from the sweat.

"you shaking?" he offers, giggling.

you smirk, "how can i not when you're right infront of me?"

he tilts his head a little, "...huh?"

his eyes widen a little, ears reddening.

his arms give out immediately, sending him face planting into the grass.

"Y/N WINS!" everybody exclaims, high-fiving.

"what's the time!?" nobara questions to megumi.

he looks down at his phone, smirking a little.

"58 seconds."

nobara starts cheering as she starts collecting her bidding money from everyone.

yuji lays there, grumbling.

"you sulking, princess?" you tease, prodding at his crown.

"you cheated." he says, looking back up at you with a defeated pout.

"sounds like something somebody who lost would say." you retort.

megumi offers out a hand to the both of you, "i think itadori got nervous."

"i did NOT get nervous!" yuji argues back.

you laugh, taking megumi's hand.

grumbling again, yuji falls back into the grass.
