why can't he be happy with his family for five minutes

#spend the first ~13 years of your life trapped in a swamp being used to punish your parents if they dont meet their captors standards #for their forced labour. punishment involves sitting alone in a cold cell where there are rats and stuff trying to avoid the snakes outside.#and they bite you. when you just wanted to make friends.#oh and the captor lets the snakes practice things like tracking on you when you or your parents displease him #and he tries to make you doubt your familys love for you. reminds you constantly that your other father and your siblings dont even know you #exist.#...i just realised. cyrus was probably the first person outside of ray maya and krux that he met.#oh my god and then some dude in red comes bursting into your house yelling at your dad and basically tries to kill him. and its your brother #its your brother your parents have told you so many stories about. and hearing you call out for your dad makes him angrier.#and then. you maybe at least catch a glimpse of your other father for the first time ever but hes super old. on the verge of death.#but then your father you grew up with is facing the same fate but faster.#he ends up fine and the bad guys are gone and now you and your parents are free and theyre reunited with your siblings and you get to meet -#them properly for the first time. and youre still a bit scared of your big brother (but hes trying SO HARD to make up for it). but.#none of them get to reunite with- and you dont get to meet- your other dad. hes lost. hes disappeared. he sacrificed himself to save his -#husband. who he hadnt seen in about a decade. and that sounds a lot like the man youve heard stories about.#and then a year later you hear theyve found him but. hes a baby? and then you think you see your siblings crushed on live tv. killed.#probably with your baby-father and cousin with them.#sure things are fine about a week later but things keep happening. the oni invade.#you cant go visit your family because there are fire snakes. then your dad disappears AGAIN (as well as your aunt)#and then your sister merges with the freaking OCEAN and NO ONE is handling it well. and your brother and cousin get arrested. and now theres #weird crystal zombies.#and then your sister is back!!! ...but only for so long.#then theres a weird storm and your family is scattered to the ends of the world - a world thats unfamiliar yet familiar a mix of old and new #you find your siblings and your cousin but some people are still missing. like your parents (if not all three parents #then at least one dad has gone missing. AGAIN. but you swear you hear his voice sometimes...)#your cousin picks up training you where your dad left off and youre feeling. so much pressure.#your grandfather was a hero. your parents were heroes. your cousin and siblings are heroes. how can you ever live up to them? youre so far #behind them in life. in everything. you dont even have elemental powers like most of the other new ninja (or do you....?)#this poor boy. all he does is suffer 😭 im so sorry lar #lar smith

ok but whoever was that guy who spoke for simone to that interviewer he should have said “sorry she’s not doing interviews today” instead of “she doesn’t want to” i’m assuming he is her publicist or something, if he’s there to represent and aid her he should be doing that, he should have intervened when the guy first approached her for god’s sake

Yeah I don't know how publicists work, but ultimately, Simone has every right to refuse an interview, regardless of how she says it (and it wasn't even rude tbh).

It most likely represents the Austrian-Turks.~~ Bottom Left: Flag of South Azerbaijan Top Right: Uzbekistan \*Middle Right: ~~Truly mystifying flag. Looks like an Azerbaijan-Armenia Union flag. The closest thing to it was the flag of Nakhchivan, which is still very different.~~ Bottom Right: Alternate flag of South Azerbaijan Edit: ~~Further progress made on the Middle Right flag. Seems to be the flag of Rojava but with the addition of Turkic symbolism. Turkish Rojava is my best guess.~~ \*Edit 2: Many thanks to u/RHY0118 for solving the mystery.
