My favorite wip is really hard to decide rn but I'm really excited about my sksw zelink modern au :3 I can't wait to finish that one (even tho I've been procrastinating for months T-T).

I am...what one might call...an oc collecter...(I have way too many) So to keep things more simple, I'll explain the ocs I'm currently fixated on :) They're a little group of magical beings called Vitas, and the group is called The Coven. It's run by five goddesses: Liz (eternity), Belle (wisdom), Rayne (courage), Dulce (summoning), and Alice (mortality). Aside from the goddesses themselves, The Coven is basically a group of dysfunctional queer teenagers. /lh

Imma just put them all in a list: Elisanna (Ellie), Raya (Rye), Schuyler (yes I know it's a last name, she goes by Cielle), Ren, Lincoln, Deindreia (Dreia), and Joyce (who also goes by Shika - or 'Shi') They are called 'mages' bc that's the title that was chosen by one of the goddesses :)

Elisanna is the mage of magic, Raya is the mage of courage, Schuyler is the mage of wisdom, Ren is the mage of love, Lincoln is the mage of eternity, Deindreia is the mage of faith, and Joyce is the mage of (guess what) joy.

I love to mess around with their titles because some of them are in relationships with each other so, for example, Ren and Lincoln are boyfriends and together they are 'eternal love' (haha I'm so smart /j)

But yeah! Asks are welcome about any of the goobers! :D

SO.

My fantasy novel is about a 16 year old boy named Rune Atwood and his quest with a variety of other figures (healers, warriors, and a random cook) to bring peace back to his kingdom. Rune's kingdom is called the Lighx Kingdom, and they are entwined in the magical string of the land called *Vitacolis, which places them in tandem with the other 7 kingdoms on the planet Tangible. These 8 kingdoms represent the elements, and magic is defined by the idea of light and dark; the sun and moon are the source of all magic.

The Lighx Kingdom is in a twisted inferno of conflict that's been built up since the birth of the ancient goddesses, and its peace is vital to Vitacolis's balance and magic. The world was supposed to be balanced long before, but Rune's ancestors and previous generations have all died before they turned 16. Rune expected to die on his 16th birthday. He didn't. Now he stands between a corrupt king and a starving people.

Alternatively, Runes of Ruin is a story of revolution, wisdom, and absolute audacity. From nobles to beggars, all people are equal in death.

*Vitacolis literally means land of light in latin

Marion is a 17 year old boy from the Astrocivic (equivalent to Great Britain), who was born in the Kangara rainforest (equivalent to Brazil), and was raised as a scholar. His father left for war when Marion was very little, and has not returned since then. His mother lives in the Kangara rainforest with Marion's 5 other siblings. Marion has always been extremely smart for his age, and was sent to study in The Civic when he was only 12. He's mastered almost every element of his magic, and can read minds, predict the future, perform telepathy, and can use telekinesis. However, he refuses to use any of his powers unless absolutely necessary.

He's very talented with a knife, and has insane accuracy. Unfortunately, he's head over heels in love with Ray, and has trouble focusing on the quest while he's busy throwing a mental tantrum over the fact that Ray does not notice.

Unrelated to his lore, Marion was actually the first character I came up with! He was supposed to be the main character, and so he has a ton of lore and a deeper story that the other characters lack. He's powerful, but hesitant, and shrouded in mystery. If I told his entire lore, I'd spoil like, half of the series.

I actually decided to make a Tumblr blog bc of Jes, and I used to read his fics all the time and I used to follow literally JUST him, the linked universe blog, and bonus links T-T (back when Lin had just joined Tumblr and was too afraid to post lol)

I found catreginae on ao3 randomly, I remember that I read "This Ring is a Shield" first, and immediately subscribed lmao-

So I totally, definitely, did NOT shriek with joy at the sight of a collab :3 haha...(I'm so normal abt my favorite fanfic authors hehe...) /plat /silly

Rune would not care THAT much, because people usually don’t like him, but he’d at least wanna know why

Freya would say “yeah me neither” and continue with her life

Seraphina would hold a lifelong grudge and an insane amount of spite, and if the person was coming after one of the others, she would definitely attempt murder

Marion would just stare at them blankly like “…ok?? I don’t care? Fuck off??”

Avalon would be upset for a few days but she wouldn’t let it ruin her life, she’d forgive the person easily as well once she got done crying

Ray would actually be VERY hurt because he tried so hard to be friendly and likable and responsible, and he’d be very upset for days, especially if he knew the person or they insulted him personally

North would not give a shit, probably arrange an assassination plan. Whether she acts on it or not is anybody’s guess
