Every. Single. Step. It’s okay if you take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. Healing is not linear. In a way, it’s like a spiral, bringing you through the ups and downs, but it gets a little better every time. It’s okay if the only thing you can do today is drink a glass of water. At least you drank that glass. Maybe tomorrow you’ll be able to do it again, or maybe even take a shower. You’d be surprised how those little steps add up. Show yourself real love. I know it’s hard to even breathe, but every choice you do or don’t make, makes a difference, however small.
