Demotion

I've never been demoted before, but damn if this doesn't fully capture the essence of what that must feel like. That incredibly wide mouthed, head in hands screaming posture of Dark King of the Abyss just packs so much emotion in it. It's so easy to palpably feel his despair. Even if I uh... Hate seeing the inside of his mouth rendered in detail instead of being a black void. Like why does his tongue have dark colored ridges on it??? Disgusting. Also his jaw being dramatically opened so far that you can see the backside of his incisors must be extremely painful on its own. On the other side of the card, we get Dark Ruler Ha Des bringing the pain. His pose and expression lacks any exaggeration, but man does his face show how much he’s enjoying this terribly cruel act. Certified Evil Boss Face right there. Hey....... I have to ask (point out?)..... Why does Ha Des have a purple, similarly distressed replica of Dark King's head on his robes? That would be objectively terrifying if your boss was wearing something like that for no explicable reason. No wonder Dark King is having the worst time of his life.
