I do think the sigil/symbol came out pretty good, despite all the difficulties that went into that bit.

Yu-Gi-Oh
my all time favorite Yu-Gi-Oh cards is the sheep tokens. My brother gave me his and even though they are damaged from a long time of usage and do not provide anything except being well, a token. They are still always present when I play the game even if nothing I have uses tokens.

Ygotober Day 9-10-11: Favorite Manga/Favortie Zexal Character/Favorite Spell card
Phew....I’m late but it’s here.
I haven’t read any of the yu gi oh manga (save for a random issue of the first one that takes place during the battle city arc and that I remember not liking much) so I just drew a cute Kuriboh
I didn’t know what to choose for favorite spell card. Like I said, I suck at picking favorites. But I like the sheep tokens so I drew a sheep token.
I still need to properly watch Zexal. I did see a few episodes back when it aired and I tried to use it to get back in Yu gi Oh but I couldn’t understand how Xyz monsters worked and it was just frustrating to me. (The french translation didn’t made it any easier) But I remembered really liking Astral and when I watched a few episodes of the french dub recently, I ended up really liking him.
For people who haven't seen them these are the current Sheep Tokens (I messed up on the white one, those masks didn't have the arch whoops! Have to make another one with the proper markings I guess.) The goal is to eventually do ones that look more like the current masks (and maybe eventually make some more detailed ones with beading/fancy details) + Espera (Esheepra)
It's been a bit since I made an update, but! I'm working on another one of this style right now and will probably do another for practice and then try my hand on the current masks? Maybe? We'll see, haha.
Not a super big photoshoot but!! They are done! Second Sheep Token Prototype is complete, and they came out very good. There's no gaping where you can see the poly fill, the symbol work up was quick and easy (though I still want to adjust exactly how I do it) and! Not sewn together completely crooked. It was raining outside so not a whole lot of pictures, but! I am proud of them.
