Every time I read a fic that consistently describes Leo with the epithet “the Latino,” I’m going to write a fic that does the same thing but for Jason and it’s going to say “the white boy.”

apollon agyieus 🏙️
apollon agyieus means "of the streets." this epithet describes him as the protector of the streets, roads, public places, and the entrances of homes. he was often worshipped as such in acharnae, mycenae, and at tegea.
when this epithet of apollon was being worshipped, he was represented as a sort of pointed column or obelisk, which was kept on front doors or boundaries. they were considered sacred to this epithet and believed to avert any type of harm from the space.
these obelisks were treated as altars of sorts, where offerings were placed. historically, these offerings included wreaths, ribbons, libations, incense, fruits, flowers, etc.
ways to worship this epithet 🏙️
☀︎ place a small stone or rock resembling the shape of these columns near the entry to your home to represent apollon agyieus. you can place offerings by it as well.
☀︎ ward and do protection spells on your home and space.
☀︎ cleanse your space both physically and energetically
☀︎ be respectful to public spaces (don't litter, etc.)

Can you list some epithets of Odysseus? ^_^
Oh my gosh! I love this questioooooooon! And I was thinking of making some post about it!!!!! Gosh I am so sorry to be so late but here we go!
Beware of a long list because I have no self-control and I wanted to include a small variety of the main epithets! My main sources are the homeric poems for this one!:
☀️ Apollo Epithets ☀️
Adhara's post introduction: Here it is, with Lord Apollo as our Epithet post of Friday! Next Epithets' posts would be released from Monday to Friday, just like this week had been!! Buuut I will try a new form of posting as one in the morning and other at night (so 2 posts per day -- but is not confirmed!!)
Thearios: Of the Oracle;
Proopsios: Foreseeing;
Klêrios: Distributing by Lot;
Klêdônes: Omen in Words and Sounds;
Paian: Healer;
Akesios: Of Healing;
Alexikakos: Averter of Evil, Harm;
Theoxenios: God of Foreigners;
Lykios: Of the Wolves;
Boêdromios: Rescuer;
Ælæléfs: he who utters a war cry;
Ævdómeios: worshipped on the seventh day.
Adhara's random fact about the Theoi: Lord Apollo's cult were mainly focused on oracles, archery, music, healing, adverting plague and evils, protecting from harm (from wolves, plagues of mice and locusts, mildew, protection of streets, entrances, embarkations, voyages, etc.) and of course, focused also on hunting. There was also a festival meant for Hyacinthus, and also a festival of Women in honor of him.
