Toji fushiguro was the bane of your existence. You hated him with a burning passion. It wasn’t as if that wasn’t known.

Everyone knew about it and the feelings were mutual. Toji hated you as well. You tried your best to tolerate the man because of your elder brother’s sake but sometimes you just wanted to smack Toji across his smug-looking face and permanently disfigure his pretty face.

So it was safe to say that it was very bad when you were standing at his door at almost 2 a.m. with bruises on your face.

Toji had just finished up with a woman and was standing in his boxers, in his kitchen drinking water when he heard the doorbell ring and there were rapid knocks on his door.

Toji was alert and contemplated if he should open the door or not. He grabbed his shotgun and walked over to the door and took a peek through the little keyhole.

To his surprise, his best friend’s little sister, his sworn ‘enemy’ was standing at the door. He hurriedly opened the door and was surprised.

Mascara-tinged tears were streaming down your face, leaving two black streaks on your face. Your hair looked rough, you were supporting bruises all over your neck and arms.

“Toji,” you shakily called out as he opened the door. Your legs gave out and you were about to fall when Toji steadied you in his arms.

“Who did this to you?” Toji furiously asked. You weren’t able to respond and just sobbed in his chest. Toji had never felt this miserable in his life.

“He-he tried to,” you gasped, unable to speak. Your entire body was quivering.

“Calm down sweetheart. I’m here, aren’t I? I will kill him for you hm? He dared to lay a hand on you.” Toji seethed.

“C’mere,” he softly spoke and enveloped you in a hug. He led you to the couch and sat you down on his lap as he soothingly rubbed your back.

“I had nowhere else to go. I- was at a party,” You spoke unsteadily.

“Take your time baby,” Toji softly stated as he brushed his thumb on your lips.

“I was invited to a party by my friends and they- there was a guy, he kept staring at me. I went outside to take a breather and he got me. I shouted for help but nobody came. They all just brushed me off.” You took a deep breath and continued.

“Since your house was a 5-minute walk from here I ran. I’ve seen him numerous times at parties and there was also a time when he was standing outside my apartment complex staring at my window. Thank god I was on alert today otherwise I would’ve been-” You shuddered at the thought. What if you didn’t notice the signs and drank what he gave you?

“He didn’t?” Toji questioned. You shook your head. Toji for a moment had a look of relief on his face but it soon changed.

“He dared to beat you,” Toji carefully wiped the tears off your face. “He’s going to regret even attempting to breathe near you,” Toji coldly said.

“Doll first let’s get you to the bathroom,” He spoke as he carried you, who was still clinging onto him for dear life to his bathroom. He gently sat you on the countertop.

“I can do it on my own,” you mumbled as he wet a towel and was about to wipe your face.

“Shush baby, I’ll do it for you,” Toji said and gently wiped your face. “Why do you wear so much mascara? This shit is blacker than my soul,” He muttered under his breath. You tried your best to muffle your laughter but ended up snorting instead.

“Cheeky pig eh? Be careful or I’ll eat you up.” Toji deadpanned. You scoffed, “eating me up? So you’re into cannibalism now?”

Toji looked at you and chuckled, “Well if you want. I give a pretty good oral by the way. 5-star reviews only,” He winked at you as he said that.

You scrunched your nose. “You’re nasty and to address the elephant in the room why are you in your boxers and have hickeys all over you?”

“Just had a one-night stand. Lady’s still upstairs? I don’t know sleeping or someshit. Don’t even remember her name,” Toji shrugged.

“I’ll go get ice for your bruises. Your brother will kill me if he finds that I didn’t heal them.” He muttered under his breath and he walked away and appeared a minute later.

“Hand,” he demanded and started the cold compress. “After this, I’m taking you to the motherfucker that dared to touch you. Let’s beat the shit out of him.” His eyes were filled with fury.

“I thought you’d be like ‘Stay here and I’ll deal with him’ but I was wrong I guess,” you mumbled.

“Darling, you need to see what happens to these creatures that dare to touch you. Your brother, Shiu, and I are both very articulate when dealing with small fry like him.”

“I didn’t want to admit this but you don’t know how relieved I am that you’re here. With you around nobody will dare touch me. This is a temporary truce though okay? After this, we’re back to being enemies again.” You grumbled as you wrapped your arms around the man, tightly hugging him.

Toji chuckled, “Sure baby whatever you want. Let me go wear my clothes,” he mumbled and walked towards his room.

“Now Let’s go remind a filthy bug his place,” He spoke as he walked outside his room, supporting a mad grin on his face. You were feeling excited. You were never allowed to watch Toji or Shiu during their missions so this was a thrilling moment for you.

You sat in the car outside the club with Toji.

You felt anxious, your hands were trembling but you tried your best to conceal them from him.

Toji noticed it and grasped your shaking hands. “You’re okay doll. I’ll make sure of that. When I’m here you never need to feel scared or worry,” he assured you. You gave him a tense smile.

“Let’s go hm?” He said as he patted your head. He got out of the car and opened the door for you. “Lead the way, sweetheart,” He flashed you a smile.

Toji clasped your hand with his and walked with you inside the ongoing party. “Do you see him?” Toji whispered to you. Your eyes darted across the club and saw the guy flirting with a woman. You pointed at the man.

Toji nodded, his eyes filled with unbridled rage. He took long strides toward the man and questioned, “Is this him?”

“Yes,” You responded with a shaky sigh. Toji grabbed the man by his shirt and threw him on the floor. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at him. Nobody dared to stop him. Who would? He was toji fushiguro, the crazy hitman.

Toji paid no heed to the attention and dragged the dude outside the club by his shirt. He picked him up and slammed him on the ground again.

“Motherfucker, do you know who I am?” Toji asked as his foot made its way to the man’s crotch. The man pleaded to leave him alone but toji just chuckled and kicked him in the crotch area making the man cry out in pain.

He roughly grabbed the man’s face and pointed towards you. “Do you know who she is?” He questioned. The man was hesitant to reply but nodded his head.

Toji punched the man in his face. “I repeat, do you know who she is?” The now bruised ugly man cried in agony. “I know!” He screamed. Toji looked satisfied with his answer. The man looked at you pleadingly but you just looked away from him.

“Now do you know what the Kong clan is?” He asked in amusement. The man shivered at the mention of the Kong clan. “Ho-w co-uld I n-ot kn-ow?” His voice trembled as he spoke.

Toji chuckled. “She is the clan leader’s sister. Someone you dared to lay your disgusting eyes on. I’m tempted to gouge your eyes out but I will leave that to her brother.” He got up and stepped on his lower body, basically crushing his balls.

The man wailed, feeling excruciating pain. He screamed your name, cursing you out. You giggled at the sight. You walked up to Toji and casually stomped your foot on his chest. “Serves you right,” You spoke with a smile as you grabbed Toji’s arm.

“Toji can we leave now? Order one of the brothers ’ lackeys to lock him up. You and Brother Shiu can deal with him later,” You grumbled, feeling very tired.

“Sure dollie. I’ll text the clean-up guy.” He replied.

You let out a yawn and leaned against Toji. “M’so sleepy.” It took you a good two business days to realize what you just did. You jumped away from him and looked at his arm in disgust. “Let’s never talk about this day ever again.”

“Aww is the mean version of you back again? I preferred when you acted all cute and cozy with me.” Toji teasingly said to you.

You glared at him. “I forgot how insufferable you were for a minute.” “Oh baby I wished that you would forget about that,” He mockingly voiced.

“Oh baby meh meh meh,” you mimicked his voice and stuck your tongue out at him. Toji leaned forward and entangled your tongue with his, essentially pulling you in for a kiss.
