Confession: I feel like some of the lore is contradictory, and I don’t just mean old retcons like Ebonarm. I remember first reading that hagravens are corrupted and hate nature, but that’s clearly not the case now -- not for all of them. I wish Bethesda would put out a canon compendium with TES VI.
dance (and) change
Stendarr is not a god of subterfuge, but still he remains hidden among the trees, unnoticed by the two dancers in the clearing. It is a dance of steel, a clash of blades, and in a flash of light, only one remains. He is a stranger in a strange land, a titan bathed in ebony, with a wicked sword to match.
The strange man plants his blade in the earth and runs his hands through his reddish blonde hair and beard, relishing his existence. It’s enough to make Stendarr’s stomach churn. Mercy is one thing - this foul union is another entirely. He retches involuntarily, and the sound calls attention to himself.
The stranger reclaims his sword and, examining the treeline, calls out, “Who goes there?”
Stendarr is forced to reveal his presence. He steps out from behind the trees and replies, “I.”
There is something incredibly weird in Ebonarm, the Redguard Chad Wargod (VS the Virgin Talos), being the enemy of all Daedric Princes but Sheogorath.
Like, why does he tollerate, pheraps even befriend Sheogorath?
Is it Pity over what Happened to Jyggalag? If so, why not offer the same courtesy to Malacath over Triminac?
Is it him being a funky little bastard? Why offer him this leniency when Sanguine is canonically Danny DeVito shaped?
Cases are 3:
1) Ebonarm personally knew Jiggalag, and is not bothering Sheogorath in memory of his old foe/friend
2) Ebonarm personally knows Sheogorath, and just decides to vibe with him for some weird ass reason known only to him.
3) Ebonarm and Sheogorath are friends to enemies to lovers.
[?????] A spirit of vengeance... It sometimes appears in songs as a black panther, a warrior in ebony armor, or as a hidden sword.

I just want to acknowledge the fact that Hermaeus Mora actually shits himself before his battle against Xenon. Like, he knows everything that Xenon has done.
He's defeated two Daedric Princes. He has another two Daedric Princes on his side, those being Hircine and Meridia(whether he like it or not). He has Akatosh behind him as well since he's the Dragonborn, and he's the freaking demigod of war, the reincarnation of Ebonarm. Apart from many more small stuff, this is what frightens Mora the most.
And Xenon loves every second of it.
