Pepps had a pretty uninteresting life before NM hijacked his puters i think. Mostly just supply runs, growing/hunting food, lab work, and his hobbies. The man spent 20 years on his own reading every book in the lab and hanging out on forums and building/designing machines in solitude until the yucky fuck came around

Personality-wise he's pretty laidback, at least on the surface and to himself. He doesn't like to leave his comfort zone or think about things that stress him out, and dislikes talking about the past or future. He's gruff, sarcastic, and blunt, not very expressive vocally and instead conveying a lot through body language, in subtle gestures such as the flick of an ear or a wrinkling of his muzzle. He talks sparingly and quietly in a deepish voice with a notable feline growl. He has a wicked temper when pushed the right way, and can get pretty mean verbally. It usually takes a lot or doing specific things to get there tho. Like, don't mess with his blueprints, steal his resources, touch him, or push him about his past and you should be good.

He listens to music a lot! Some of his favourite artists are Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, and Squarepusher. He may even putter around with audio himself, mainly noise and ambient tracks.

Pepps has a lot of hobbies but engages with them pretty sporadically, or alternatively a week to a month of doing one singular thing exclusively. His usuals are tinkering and drafting. Sometimes he'll go months doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and maybe lurking the internet. He has a few online friends he's known for years. He's got ties in the furry fandom, funnily enough. No, his fursona is not a lynx, a shark, nor a goat.
