Hear me out Shatter Me
I just read the whole series in one sitting—all the *Shatter Me* books—and there are three things that make me feeling disappointed.
WHAT DID THEY DO TO ADAM IN IMAGINE ME?! You can’t just tell me they did something to him in Max’s lab and then never mention it again. They rescue him, and that’s it. Once he’s no longer the love interest, they just forget about him. I get that, since it’s told from Juliette’s perspective, he becomes irrelevant to her. But I feel like they just pushed him aside out of nowhere, and she forgave Warner way too quickly. I’m glad they finally developed a sibling-like relationship over the years but the way they stopped hating each other was way too rushed.
I WANT JUSTICE FOR THE DYSTOPIAN WORLD. Okay, Emmaline was controlling perception—that’s settled. But what was the point of Anderson screwing with Juliette’s life? He wanted to kill her—he almost succeeded once—didn’t that go against the Reestablishment’s plans? What did he want to do with Adam and James? Why all the charade about killing the regent commanders-in-chief? What was the point of the Supreme Commanders’ children?
In New Republic, I miss my girl Juliette. I know she’s recovering from her pregnancy, but she feels like a different person. It’s strange not to have her so present and not to have her POV. I know is James and Rosabelle time, but i miss her.
