i definitely understand the evolutionary advantage of megalophobia, but what about people like me, who see some Godzilla-ass monster and go "baby !! <3" ? the fuck is the evolutionary advantage of a tiny ass woman cooing at a mosasaurus ? thinking "oh this is SO cool" when something we thought was a mountain emerges from the ground on spider legs ???
I think I have megalophobia, but idk how I’d check that and idk how scared you have to be for it to be considered a phobia.
Like big animatronics make me VERY uncomfortable, found this out when I was at a dinosaur land thing as a kid and they had MASSIVE animatronic dinosaurs that I could not make myself look at.
Another thing is big ships close to me, it makes me dizzy .
Lastly, I think, if I do have megalophobia, it would explain why I don’t like rollercoasters, cause I’m absolutely fine with heights and I’m not scared anything is going to break or anything.
If anyone has megalophobia pls help, cause I think it would explain a lot,and if it doesn’t sound like it, pls tell me what it might be.
