Dualscar has yet to pick a fucking pumpkin. The goddamn seatroll is going over every single one in this stupid bubble memory until he finds the perfect one that matches his oh so stupidly specific taste. Asshole.

The mutant hefts his pumpkin in his arms a little higher. The humans in the bubbles had communicated some idea of their little holiday to everyone else and now they were arranging a bubble wide Halloween party. Apparently picking and carving pumpkins was very necessary for fun and decorations. Karkat was willing to do it because he got to stab something instead of wishing he could stab himself.

Dualscar for horror terrors knew what reason was really fucking excited by this whole idea. Karkat's known him for a while now after bumping into him in the bubbles. Apparently anyone who wasn't scared of him deserved an actual conversation and things kinda just went from there. Karkat is reconsidering everything now. The seatroll is rubbing a hand over a good sized pumpkin and humming. He gives it a rap of his knuckles and shakes his head.

"Startin' to rot. Open it up and it'll be dead in a week." He stands and moves on to the next one to catch his eye. Karkat is about to shove his head in his own pumpkin.

"Please just fucking pick a pumpkin so we can go do this stupid shitty holiday whatever fuckery and move the shit on." He blinks and Dualscar is five steps closer than he was a second ago.

Hands that could crush his skull grab the pumpkin from him. Karkat growls. "Hey, that's mine!"

Dualscar knocks on the pumpkin. "Actually, it's mine now. Clearly this is the most superior gourd and therefore it belongs to me." He's grinning widely with his stupid shark teeth and Karkat stomps on his foot. It's completely ineffective and Dualscar just laughs at him.

Karkat marches over to the closest nice pumpkin he sees and scoops it up. "Fine, take my pumpkin you asswipe! I'm still going to carve this one better than you. You wasted all this fucking time choosing the most superior gourd and you're just going to ruin it with shit carving." Dualscar scowls at him.

"Watch it or I'll carve you up."

"Like you fucking could."
