Bound to earth, Hylaru found her own power in the depths which she began extracting recklessly to build her own dynasty. When the monsters who crept up from the depths began to terrorize the inhabitants of the world, her sisters grew furious with her and demanded she leave her station immediately. 2 Hylaru however, felt betrayed by her sisters who were all the more powerful than she. Still dreaming of grandeur, she turned their own kingdom against them and exiled them from the world. 1 Forcing them to abdicate their triforce and place it in her care, Hylaru promised an endless era of prosperity for those who stood behind her. Now, without her sisters to interfere, Hylaru turned her attention to the world which twisted and changed with the power of gold– Triforce.

But the Triforce was far too powerful for Hylaru to wield all on her own and eventually the monsters caught wind of it. Knowing that this was their only chance to capture the power of the goddesses for themselves, they ravaged the surface in search of the Triforce, slaughtering the people and destroying the land in their wake. Fearing for her life, the triforce, and all that she built, Hylaru used the power of the depths to tear her kingdom from the earth, raising it high into the sky where the monsters could not reach. She returned below empty handed and with the aid of the people she fought against the monsters, sealing them back into the depths and venerated herself as a hero of the people. 3 The world was once again peaceful, but even still she worried that the triforce would be stolen. Unable to wield it herself she shattered it into 8 pieces and hid it so that no one could capture the true power of the Triforce. 4
