Currently writing a Skylanders story and rewatching the games and I’m on the Secret Vault of Secrets level where Machine Ghost “dies” and that got me thinking imagine either Chop Chop or Drill Sergeant being there during that scene how gut wrenching it would be to see one of the last good Arkeyans to seemingly die saving you.
Imagine how long it would take for them to leave the body knowing they couldn’t bring it with them.
Out of all the Giants, I think Ninjini would've been the first one to trust Drill Sergeant bc 1) her pre-skylander backstory, unlike some of the other Giants, isn't related to the Arkeyans so she would have an easier time accepting him and 2) she knows what it feels like to be trapped for centuries so she empathizes with him. as a bonus, I think her fondness and respect for him would grow exponentially once she learns that he always does what anyone tells him to do but he still fought against an old protocol he had in his system that demanded he eliminate the Giants
