I decided to draw our DnD OCs Alusys, Gaeril and his wolf companion Fang, riding homeward to Gaeril's mother. We finally met her last session. Needless to say a very emotionally charged moment between mother and son when they met again after being separated for years. Loredh's interactions with Alusys were also so sweet, the two drank coffee, talked and made clothes together (Loredh is a seamstress and weaver). It really inspired me, and I thought the idea of Ally and Gaeril traveling back to his home in Lunalucia would make a nice gift for Uni 🥹 💕
I heard this audio and immediately thought of our party member who has so far only ordered a glass of milk at every tavern we've visited 🤣🥛

It’s christmas so I can finally post this!! @muddi-gutz I’m rly proud of this i hope you like it umu
okay so ive decided to write a post about sovelia because i love her a lot. this is kind of a companion to my post about keelan, even though theyre in different games, on account of being played by the same person, me. so. sovelia is a half-elf monk, a total badass, and the closest to dating a rhino ive ever seen someone get. (the guy who played the rhino left the game before anything could actually happen between them. im pretty sure he was flirting with sovelia, though.)
she spent the first few years of her life living with her elven dad in an elf commune, but she kept getting into trouble, so when a handful of gnomes came through recruiting for their monastery, her dad thought, “oh, a place where our kid will learn self control, awesome, take her,” and sovelia actually got her name from the gnome who escorted her to the monastery! (she decided to ditch her old name, lorelai, when she realized her parents were Not Great and sovelia had a better mouthfeel)
anyway, sovelia immediately fell in love with the monastery’s library and started devouring every book she could get her hands on and trading chores with other students so she could organize and copy books with the librarians. the monastery was multi-disciplinary, but sovelia decided to learn the way of the four elements, and became Way too good at avatar-style waterbending for comfort. she got good with a quarterstaff, learned how to look like she wasnt starting trouble (even though she often was), and learned a lot of respect for other living creatures and the natural cycle of life.
around the age of thirty, the monastery decided she was mature and capable enough to leave the monastery, so she pledged herself to preserving the natural balance of the universe and struck out on her own in search of a good adventuring party, a story to preserve and spread, a new recruit, or a cool pet, whichever comes first. and im proud of her!!!!
also, ive only actually played sovelia in the one game (which was cancelled at level five), but in it, sovelia almost dated a rhino, tried to break off from the party to live with kobolds but decided against it when they wouldnt let her into the library, suffocated a fiery wolf with a big bubble of water, and wielded a super cool eight-foot quarterstaff made of ice. (at one point, she used water whip to essentially bloodbend from a pool of blood and rip the arm off a flesh golem (the killing blow), and spent the next ten minutes being sick in a corner. because even badasses have their limits.)
