Some Gax thoughts:
- This is the perfect ship for the acquaintances to friends to fucking to enemies to Max groveling pipeline. To me, no Gax fic is truly complete without Max kind of fucking up and then having to grovel (of course George also fucks up and has to apologize but Max has to GROVEL)
- Great ship for the outsider/friend perspective. Love to always know what Alex and Lando think about what’s going on.
- I know jealousy isn’t everyone’s thing, but Gax is perfect for pre-relationship jealousy with Max and Charles and George and Alex.
- Max and George are both very smart people. What makes them so delightful together is that they use their intelligence so differently.
- Family drama is tea on both sides.

Like the rest of the world, he’d seen that clip of Lando and Oscar talking incessantly about orange that Arsenal had posted last week. “Mate, there’s orange and there’s whatever they’ve got you wearing on the pitch,” Oscar shot back. His cheeks were a bit pink, though. Alex burst in then, mocking Max over his jerseys, before Max started handing it back, until they were all arguing over whose team would win the World Cup. They could agree on one thing at least: it was sure as fuck not coming home. Max loudly proclaimed as much to the whole bar, head fizzy and lips loose from his gin and tonic. “Fuck England, obviously,” he added. “Excuse me?” an unfortunately familiar posh voice said.

Was on my way to a cafe to study Metabolic Chemistry when a commentor informed me about George's 8th in FP and asked me to post a chapter. (Last time I posted a chapter, George got a Silverstone podium) So I do my part for the GR fandom and gets cracking on with the next chapter.

I'm not usually someone who likes aus where max isn't a driver but this just completely blew me away and he's still a racer just in a different way. George is so spectacularly down bad its hilarious and both of them are fleshed out and characterised so beautifully. Truly a fic of all time <3
