I have been putting in a lot of thought of what I want to do with recent events.
Obviously, I do not support Avid or Marmalade and I am utterly disgusted by their actions. All of my support goes to the victims and always will. I will continue to love and create art for Vampires SMP, but do not expect to see anything of vAvid. I am not comfortable drawing or writing about his characters, even though I know they played important parts in other people's stories.
I think I am going to replace vAvid with OC for many reasons, but mostly because I never want to write that name again, to ever put genuine love and energy into him again. That does not mean I think anyone else should feel like they have to do the same, or completely erase vAvid from the VSMP, or any other server he took part in, you can do and create what you like. If you want to write about a character, that's fine, because at the end of the day, they are a character. I do believe vAvid is the fandom's now.
Again, every ounce of my love is being sent to the victims and I will continue to support them in every way I can. Do not force anyone to speak about their experiences, they do not owe us anything, and I am grateful that so many people were able to speak about this, to share the truth.
