Hilario: Your mother and I made so many mistakes before we met, and we wouldn't want our daughter to go through the same thing.

Dinora: Your father and I both came from failed relationships.

Hilario: Tu madre y yo cometimos tantos errores antes de conocernos y no nos gustaría que a nuestra hija le pasara por lo mismo

Dinora: Tu padre y yo veníamos de relacionamientos fracasados

Hilario: But when we started doing things right, everything turned out well because we learned to choose the best person to accompany us for the rest of our lives!

And you, my dear, —Hilario said to Dinora— have been the best partner I've ever had! I love you so much!

Hilario took Dinora's hand and kissed it.

Dinora: Oh, darling, I love you and thank God for showing me that you are the best choice!

Hilario: ¡Mas cuando comenzamos a hacer las cosas correctamente, todo nos salió bien porque aprendimos a elegir bien a la mejor persona que nos acompañaría por el resto de la vida!

—¡Y tú, mi querida —dijo Hilario a Dinora— has sido la mejor compañera que he tenido en mi vida! ¡Te amo mucho!

Hilario tomó la mano de Dinora y le dio un beso.

Dinora: ¡Oh, cariño, yo te amo y agradezco a Dios por haberme mostrado que tú eres la mejor elección!

Esperanza: I don't need your advice, I know perfectly well what I'm doing!

Dinora: Well then, let's talk about your ex-boyfriend!

Do you remember that he dumped you, or have you already forgotten?

Hilario: We didn't say anything about your previous boyfriend, but after what happened, we felt we should intervene.

Esperanza: I'm an adult now, and I can decide for myself!

Esperanza: ¡Yo no necesito sus consejos, sé muy bien lo que estoy haciendo!

Dinora: ¡Pues entonces hablemos de tu exnovio!

¿Recuerdas que él te abandonó o ya lo olvidaste?

Hilario: Nosotros no dijimos nada sobre tu anterior novio, pero luego de lo que pasó, consideramos que debemos intervenir.

Esperanza: ¡Yo ya soy adulta y puedo decidir por mí!

Hilario: You must choose wisely. Remember, you and your partner will be running the company!

Esperanza: So all this talk is for the good of the company!

You're not interested in me! You're only worried about the company's future! Is that why you're so interested in who my partner will be? Is that why you insisted so much that I come back?

Dinora: It's not about that! It's about you, about your well-being! We don't want you to make the same mistakes we made in the past!

Hilario: We asked you to come back because the trip your mother and I are taking is important. We can't leave the company in the hands of strangers!

Dinora: We don't want anything bad to happen like what happened to us before.

Esperanza: Why didn't they let Kara help them?

Dinora: Kara is on vacation and isn't in town.

Hilario: ¡Debes elegir bien, recuerda que tú y tu pareja serán quienes dirijan la empresa!

Esperanza: ¡Así que todo este discurso es por el bienestar de la empresa!

¡Ustedes no tienen interés en mí! ¡Solo están preocupados por el futuro de la empresa! ¿A eso se debe tanto interés en quién será mi pareja? ¿Por eso insistieron tanto para que regresara?

Dinora: ¡No se trata de eso! ¡Se trata de ti, de tu bienestar! ¡No queremos que cometas los mismos errores que nosotros cometimos en el pasado!

Hilario: ¡Te pedimos que regresaras porque el viaje que haremos tu madre y yo es importante, no podemos dejar la empresa en manos de desconocidos!

Dinora: No queremos que suceda algo malo como nos aconteció anteriormente.

Esperanza: Porque no le pidieron ayuda a Kara

Dinora: Kara no está en la ciudad, esta de vacaciones

Esperanza got so upset that she refused to listen to her parents anymore and told them to leave the room and the clinic. They left while Esperanza remained angry, waiting for her boyfriend to take her home. Esperanza then repeatedly called Razor, who had turned off his cell phone and therefore wasn't answering her calls and messages.

Esperanza se molestó mucho que ya no quiso seguir escuchando a sus padres y les dijo que salieran de la habitación y se fueran de la clínica. Ellos se fueron mientras que Esperanza continuaba enfadada; esperaba a su novio porque la llevaría de regreso a la casa. Esperanza entonces llamaba insistentemente a Razor, quien había apagado el celular y por eso no contestaba las llamadas y mensajes de Esperanza.

Tina's pregnant.

She gives birth but the baby is sick. very sick. description says "life threatening without good medical care and glitterworld medicine."

We do not have glitterworld medicine, so we treat her illness as best we can with what we have.

after a bit I have an idea, and I have Wukeyon call all our friends on the radio and ask them to send caravans. Please have glitterworld medicine. None of them will arrive fast enough. We also send out two carravans, with our best two negotiators (Nicole and Wukeyon, tied at 13), in the two directions of the nearest other settlements. I am very glad now that we made friends with the dark blue group by chucking a shit ton of raw meat at them earlier.

The first two places we arrive at only have regular medicine, not glitterworld. I send the carravans further, to the next places.

Before they reach them, poor Lottie dies.

Everyone is upset, especially her family. She has an older half-brother Tobias (Tina and Philip, before she broke off the political engagement), and her parents Tina and Robert. Robert is particularly upset because in addition to her being a colonist and his daughter, he bonded further with her while feeding her and considers her his friend.

I direct Hubbard to build a limestone sarcophagus, and a granite large stele behind it. We will plant roses around the sarcophagus, and daylilies around that.

(meanwhile, everyone else is busy beating out fires because there's a dry thunderstorm going on. Robert catches fire, and I have Paul, who was beating out fire next to him, chase him down to put it out.)

And then an alarm goes off. It's time for me to take my nighttime meds and go to bed. I close the game. The funeral will have to wait until tomorrow.

After Peach left the apartment, Razor ate his soup, took a bath, got dressed, and went to the park near the apartment building. He bought some red roses to give to Esperanza and then went straight to the hospital. After arriving at the clinic, he stopped in front of the door and listened to Esperanza and her parents talking.

Luego de que Peach salió del apartamento, Razor se tomó la sopa, se bañó, se vistió y salió al parque situado cerca del edificio de apartamentos. Compró unas rosas rojas para obsequiarlas a Esperanza y luego se fue directo al hospital. Luego de llegar a la clínica, se detuvo frente a la puerta y escuchó la conversación de Esperanza y sus padres.

Esperanza: I want to introduce you to my boyfriend before you leave Lucid Cove.

Hilario: Boyfriend? What boyfriend?

Esperanza: We've been dating for a while now.

Dinora: Honey, are you sure you want to start a family with him and get married?

Esperanza: Get married? That's just a formality, Mom; a simple document, a piece of paper. We already live together as if we were married. He loves me, and I don't need to get married to know that.

Dinora: If you're going to talk like that, then why don't you take the documents and the deeds to the store or the apartments and give them to the first person you see outside?

Esperanza: What are you saying, Mom! Of course not! I wouldn't give away such important documents to just anyone!

Dinora: Then don't say that about marriage.

Esperanza: Quiero presentarles a mi novio antes que salgan de Lucid Cove.

Hilario: ¿Novio? ¿Qué novio?

Esperanza: Somos novios desde hace un tiempo.

Dinora: ¿Hija, está segura de formar una familia con él y casarse?

Esperanza: ¿Casarme? Eso solo es una formalidad, mamá; un simple documento, un papel. Ya vivimos juntos como si estuviéramos casados. Él me ama y no necesito casarme para saberlo.

Dinora: Si tanto hablas así, entonces, ¿por qué no tomas los documentos y las escrituras de la tienda o de los apartamentos y los regalas a la primera persona que encuentres afuera?

Esperanza: ¡Qué dices, mamá! ¡¡¡¡Claro que no!!!! ¡No regalaría documentos tan importantes a alguien!

Dinora: Entonces no digas eso del matrimonio.

Hilario: Your mother is right, Esperanza. You made the same mistake again!

Dinora: Marriage is a lifelong commitment. It's about serving the other person. Thinking of the other person before yourself.

Hilario: It's a life of sacrifice and serving the other person. You live to make the other person happy, not to be made happy, and for that, you must be a fulfilled person; otherwise, you'll bring your single problems into your marriage, and if the other person isn't fulfilled…

Dinora: It will all end in failure! That's why so many people get divorced after just a few months.

Hilario: It's a very common problem among celebrities! Many people, especially young people, get married just because they see a pretty face; they don't find out about the other person's past, their character, their inner self. They skip the courtship, and everything ends badly because they made a hasty decision.

Dinora: That's right. If he truly loves you, as you say, he would undoubtedly marry you. You should propose to him!

Hilario: Tu madre tiene razón, Esperanza.  ¡Volviste a cometer el mismo error otra vez!

Dinora: El matrimonio es un compromiso para toda la vida. Es servir a la otra persona. Pensar en la otra persona antes que en uno mismo.

Hilario: Es una vida de sacrificios y de servir a la otra persona. Vives para hacer feliz a la otra persona, no para que te hagan feliz, y para eso debes ser una persona realizada; de lo contrario, tus problemas de soltera los llevarás a tu matrimonio y si la otra persona no es realizada…

Dinora: ¡Todo terminará en fracaso! Por eso hay muchas personas que se divorcian al paso de unos cuantos meses.

Hilario: ¡Es un problema muy común entre los famosos! Muchas personas, en especial los jóvenes, se casan solo porque ven una linda apariencia de la otra persona por fuera; no averiguan el pasado de la otra persona, el carácter, el interior mismo de la otra persona, se saltan el noviazgo y todo termina mal por tomar una decisión deprisa.

Dinora: Así es. Si él te ama de verdad, así como lo afirmas, sin duda se casaría contigo. ¡Deberías proponérselo!

Esperanza: I'm sorry, Mom, but I haven't thought about this yet!

Hilario: Well, honey, your mother and I will not approve of your boyfriend! You're living together, and he hasn't even introduced himself since you arrived! He didn't come to ask for your hand in marriage, and you're already living together as if you were married!

After overhearing behind the door, Razor felt disappointed.

Ingrid, who was walking down the hall, saw Razor go to the other end of the hall. He hadn't gone into the room where Esperanza was and was walking back after throwing some flowers in the trash.

Ingrid: Are you okay? You look disappointed.

Razor: Let's get out of here! I'll explain somewhere else!

Esperanza: ¡Perdón, mamá, pero aún no tengo en mente esto!

Hilario: Pues bien, hija, ¡tu madre y yo no aprobaremos al novio que tienes! ¡Están viviendo juntos y él ni siquiera se presentó desde que llegaron! ¡Él no vino a pedir tu mano y ya viven juntos como si estuvieran casados!

Después de escuchar detrás de la puerta, Razor se sintió decepcionado.

Ingrid, quien iba caminando por el pasillo, vio que Razor iba al otro extremo del pasillo y no había entrado a la habitación donde estaba Esperanza e iba de regreso caminando después de haber botado unas flores al basurero.

Ingrid: ¿Estás bien? Te ves decepcionado.

Razor: ¡Salgamos de aquí! ¡Te lo explicaré en otro lugar!
