Parte 79

After work, Enrico went to the old warehouse because he was Byron's roommate.

When he arrived, he was very hungry, so he went to the kitchen and wanted to make some bread with jam, but he couldn't find the knife to cut the bread until he glanced over at the table and found the knife Byron had left behind. He noticed something strange about the knife's handle, but he didn't pay attention to the details and continued preparing the food.

Después del trabajo, Enrico fue al viejo almacén porque él es compañero de cuarto de Byron.

Al llegar, tenía mucha hambre, se dirigió a la cocina y quiso preparar un pan con mermelada, pero no encontraba el cuchillo para cortar el pan hasta que dirigió la mirada hasta la mesa y encontró el cuchillo que Byron dejó olvidado. Meanwhile, at the Bunny Hop dance club:

Astrid waited for her friends to talk about the fight she'd had with Lili. She assured them that she'd seen Peach with a man and thought she might be pregnant, which was why she was at the clinic with this unknown man. She continued:

Astrid: Peach looked strange that day! I saw them! She's definitely hiding something with that man! You guys have to help me find out what they're hiding! 🔎

Flora: That Lili thinks she's better than us! 🙄

Dulce: She just started working, and she's never even done a presentation! 🙅‍♀️

Astrid: You guys have to help me get those Asian prostitutes out of the way! 👎

Lili humiliated me, and because of her, I lost Mrs. Leocadia's trust!

Dulce: I heard that Lili and Peach live at Alameda Rentals.

Astrid: I'll go there and watch their every move! If we find out Peach is pregnant, they could kick her out of the club immediately! One less problem for us! 🧐

Flora: Peach doesn't seem very interested in working here. She didn't even show up for work today!

Astrid: That's why it would be good to kick Peach out of the club first, and then we'd kick Lili out! Lili is very emotional; we can use that against her somehow later…

Flora: …And that way everything would go back to the way it was before those girls arrived!

A few minutes later, Lili returned to the Alameda Apartments. She entered the room and threw her purse on the sofa as Peach woke up to the noise and turned on the lamp by the bed.

Peach: How could you leave like that without saying a word? 😠 You had me so worried! I went out looking for you with Razor's help! What if something bad had happened to you?

Lili: Don't bother me anymore! I feel awful! 😮‍💨

Peach: This is wrong! What will you accomplish by looking for him? 🔎

Lili: It's easy for you to say because you haven't been through what I've been through! 🙄

Peach: I know! I can't know how bad you feel, but with everything you're doing, you're only hurting yourself more!

Lili began to cry. Peach sat beside her and hugged her to try to calm her down.

Unos minutos después, Lili regresó a los apartamentos Alameda; entra en el cuarto y tira la cartera en el sofá mientras que Peach se despierta por el ruido y enciende la lámpara al lado de la cama.

Byron took the knife to the old warehouse; his house. Once there, he took the knife to the kitchen to wash it; the knife was dirty and had bloodstains on it.

Zack: Hey, what if there were a murderer's fingerprints on the knife? 🤔

Byron: They said there was a fire. The news said it was an accident!

Zack: But what if it was murder? There was a car right there, and it clearly must have gone over the cliff. There's no way it could have gotten to the crash site any other way! 🧐

Byron: Well, it's too late now. I've finished washing the knife, and the fingerprints are gone!

The police on this island are incompetent! They couldn't find any evidence that would have solved everything quickly! But it doesn't matter anymore! I'll sell this knife to an appraiser! 🤑

As they continued talking, Byron forgot the knife on the kitchen table.

Thought I'd work on a quick project to get some inspiration back and it turned out to not be so quick... but I finished it now and I think it's a neat little mod.

The Mod

This mod is a replacement for the EA cooking interaction(s) (they are actually one interaction made to look like many) to have them under one interaction which displays a dialogue window rather than the pie menu.

Parte 77

Astrid started grabbing Lili's hair, and Lili did the same in self-defense, thus beginning a fight in the dressing rooms shortly before the club opened. Lili's friends clashed with Astrid's friends.

The shouting and commotion reached the club's entrance. Mrs. Leocadia tried to restore order in the dressing rooms by yelling, but it was no use; she then ordered the boys to intervene and separate the girls.

Leocadia firmly ordered everyone to calm down and resolve their problems after work; then, when she learned that Astrid and Lili had started the fight, she punished them by sending them home.

Astrid comenzó a agarrar del pelo a Lili y Lili hizo lo mismo para defenderse, comenzando así una pelea en los camerinos poco antes de la apertura del club, donde las amigas de Lili pelearon con las amigas de Astrid.

Los gritos y el escándalo llegaron hasta la entrada del club. La señora Leocadia quiso poner orden en los camerinos gritando, pero no sirvió de nada; ordenó entonces la intervención de los chicos para que separaran a las chicas.

Meanwhile, at Almeda Rentals; Razor and Esperanza continued arguing:

Razor: "You shouldn't care what people think about us!" he said angrily to Esperanza.

Esperanza: "Yes, I care a lot about what people say! You see how those whores are interfering in our lives!"

Razor: "What are you saying? Those are your ideas!"

Esperanza: "You chose to go after them and forgot about me!"

Razor: "I'm tired of this!"

Esperanza: "What do you mean? I've put up with all this these past few days!

I'm going to the bedroom! I don't want to see you there!"

They slept separately; Esperanza went to the bedroom to sleep, and Razor stayed in the living room, sleeping on the sofa.

Mientras tanto, en Almeda Rentals; Razor y Esperanza continuaron discutiendo:

Razor: ¡No debe importarle lo que piensen las personas sobre nosotros! —le dijo a Esperanza, enojado.

Esperanza: ¡Sí me importa mucho lo que la gente diga! ¡Ya ves cómo esas rameras están interviniendo en nuestra vida!

Razor: ¡Qué dices, esas son ideas tuyas!

Esperanza: ¡Tú preferiste ir tras ellas y te olvidaste de mí!

Razor: ¡Estoy cansado de esto!

Esperanza: ¿Cómo dices? ¡Yo he aguantado todo esto todos estos días!

¡Me voy al dormitorio! ¡No quiero verte allá!

Ambos durmieron separados; Esperanza se fue al dormitorio a dormir y Razor se quedó en la sala durmiendo en el sofá.

Get yer needles ready. It's time.

Knitting! This mod adds a knitting interaction and skill to the game.

To get started, buy a pair of knitting needles. You'll also need to purchase yarn to knit with. The knitting bag can be used to store knitting needles and yarn, so if you have a family of knitters, or just a sim who likes to knit an awful lot, it's a convenient way to keep the items together.

You can knit items or just practise. Skill up to get better at making more advanced projects.

Traits will affect how fast, successful, and happy sims are at knitting, and there are 6 custom moodlets related to knitting.

There are few things I want to look into adding/changing, so there will likely be updates coming up.

The girls were in the dressing rooms, still talking and laughing, when suddenly Astrid burst into the room, interrupting their laughter and lively conversation, slamming the door. All eyes were on Astrid, who, striding angrily, stopped in front of Lili and shouted:

Astrid: I saw Peach with that man. What did you tell Leocadia to deceive her?

Lili: The truth. You have no idea what I went through that day! I'm still standing here after what happened!

Astrid: You're a liar!

Lili: You started this whole thing!

Astrid: Leocadia got angry with me!

Lili: I don't care what happened to you! You brought it on yourself!

Astrid: This isn't over!

Lili: Your schemes didn't work! And now the best dancer in the show is in decline!

Astrid: Who do you think you are, you street whore!?

Lili: Don't bother me, I have a lot to do! Go and solve your problems somewhere else!

Astrid: Shut up, you cheap whore! Poor men are looking for your love on the street! You don't have what it takes, skinny bitch! Who would want you?

Lili: Excuse me, you flashy whore! —she said sarcastically.

Astrid: Don't you talk to me like that! You'll see!!!

Lili: Did you hear, girls, they said on the news that a shooting star is going to hit Earth soon! That star is called Astrid! —Lili shouted.

The place was filled with laughter from Lili's friends.

Astrid: I hate you! Cursed be the day you walked through the door of this club!

Lili: If you're looking for trouble, you'll get it!

Mrs. Leocadia called Astrid to the dining room to talk while the others continued with their respective tasks.

Astrid entered, and Mrs. Leocadia told her to come closer. As she approached, Leocadia let her know how disappointed she was in her

Leocadia: I spoke with Lili, and she told me what happened and why they worked at the club. I felt very sorry for them, but I didn't like what you said about the girls. You lied about something so serious!

Astrid: Leocadia, I said what I saw!

Leocadia: For you, I am Mrs. Leocadia!

I am very disappointed in you; you are the lead dancer in the show, but instead of focusing on your work, you are spreading rumors about the other dancers.

Astrid became angry at what Leocadia said, and when she left the dining room, she went to find Lili.

La señora Leocadia llamó a Astrid para hablar en el comedor mientras que los demás continuaban en sus respectivos trabajos.

Astrid entró y la señora Leocadia le dijo que se acercara; mientras se acercaba, Leocadia le hizo saber lo decepcionada que estaba de ella.

Leocadia:  Hable con Lili y ella me dijo lo que sucedió y por qué trabajaron en el club. Me sentí muy triste por ellas, pero no me agradó lo que dijiste de las chicas. ¡Mentiste sobre algo tan grave!

Meanwhile, the girls gathered in the dressing room:

Flor: Mrs. Leocadia said she'd talk to Astrid.

Casilda: Well, I can just imagine what she'll say to her for being a liar and a troublemaker.

Lili: That's what she gets for messing with me and Peach.

Flor: "You two are good friends, right?" "How long have you been friends?" I ask Lili.

Lili: "Since we escaped from an orphanage when we were teenagers..." "And what about you two?" "How did you end up here?" Lili continues, not wanting to give any more details about her and her friend's lives.

Flor: "I started working as an escort because I didn't finish my studies and couldn't find a job. Nobody wanted to hire me with my incomplete education."

Lili: "Unbelievable! I would have loved to be an escort!"

Flor: "The clients would take me to very luxurious places in the city, but I was always suspicious. It was very difficult for me, since sometimes I ended up crossing the line and getting involved with my clients! So I decided to work at this club."

Casilda: "I had a job, but the money they paid me wasn't enough, so I decided to work on the streets and then I started working at the club."

Ingrid: They arrived a few days apart, at a time when the club was about to open.

Flor: Yo comencé a ser dama de compañía porque no terminé mis estudios y no encontré trabajo. Nadie quiso contratarme con mis estudios sin completar.

Lili: ¡Increíble! ¡Me hubiera gustado ser dama de compañía!

Flor: Los clientes me llevaban a lugares muy lujosos en la ciudad, pero siempre tenía desconfianza. ¡Fue muy difícil para mí, ya que a veces terminaba saltándome los límites y terminaba involucrada con mis clientes! Decidí entonces trabajar en este club.

Casilda: Yo tenía un trabajo, pero el dinero que me pagaban no era suficiente, así que decidí trabajar en las calles y luego empecé a trabajar en el club.

Ingrid: Ellas llegaron con unos días de diferencia, tiempo en el que el club estaba por inaugurar.

»» Functional Kayak Mod V.1 ««

I've wanted kayaks in game ever since I started working on Tørsvall, and when TS4 included it with Adventure Awaits, I could finally make it happen! (I'm definitely not an animator lol)

This is a new boat type for a single sim. It's fully functional with custom converted animations. It currently has no fishing interactions, but I'll probably convert those animations and include them in the future. There's an adult and smaller child version.

KNOWN ISSUES

» The "Boat Here With" interaction on the kayak object is still there, despite specifically removing it in the code... when you click it, the sim will end up using the water taxi or another multi-occcupancy boat. » Idle/Paddling animations continue for a few seconds before transitioning to the next state. » The transparency on the adult kayak looks kinda bad, but I can't seem to make it look better, sorry!
