i feel like there was a brief moment of critiquing the "im not like the other girls" attitude for misogyny, but then it got made into just another way to demonize women who were tomboys or alternative, or bullied as girls, or were trans without knowing.
the misogyny in thinking "im not like the other girls" is the implication that one is better than women, due to being further away from womanhood and closer to reason/logic/sentience, the misogyny was not being isolated from other girls, being different to other girls, being uncomfortable with being a girl due to dysphoria. but that's basically what it gets reduced to now.
