Indulge in the irresistible pleasure of fried cookie dough, which is crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. A delightful and fun treat for any occasion!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/4 cup milk. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/3 cup chocolate chips. Oil for frying. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt together with a whisk. Whisk together the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Add this to the dry ingredients. Don't mix any further than that. The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. Take small amounts of cookie dough and roll them into balls. Set a deep pan on medium heat and add the oil. Heat the oil until it reaches 350F 175C. Carefully add the cookie dough balls to the hot oil one at a time. Fry for two to three minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Don't put too much in the pan. Put the fried cookie dough on a paper towel-lined plate to drain off the extra oil after taking them out with a slotted spoon. While they are still warm, sprinkle powdered sugar over the fried cookie dough. Enjoy the warm fried cookie dough!
