There are days like today where I want nothing more than 12 hours of sleep while the sun is up. These days I usually stay up way too late-- 4AM late. I often wonder if my life will ever amount to anything more than what it is now. Bad decisions and wasted oxygen. Netflix binges (I do mean binges) and a scary amount of junk food. Countless tears, not enough laughs. Will my life ever be more than the day to day meaninglessness? Or will this blog be the only thing i leave behind. Deleted after a few years once I'm gone. Like the memory of me.

I finally watched this movie for the first time last night. I know I'm behind but I had a feeling it would ruin me a little (a lot) when I did.....and I was right 💔 I haven't watched such a traumatic, wreckless film in a long time. There was no mercy back then, no simple human rights, no dignity for man. I actually felt sick watching it for the way the Jews were treated. And then I think, how can I respond today? In 2017, when there is still such corruption going on in other forms. Child sex trafficking, terrorism, abuse, poverty.....it all continues today just in a different shape to Jews VS Germans. But it's all the same. And I sit here sickened and moved and wonder what I can do today? Amongst many other things . Once upon a time God granted me a kind soul a guy who truly cared for my heart and mind and then life took him from me. I like to think he's in heaven. I healed slowly and as time passed I met another man ; a man who I believed would be my partner forever, my friend , my companion... for years he was I know it , until he wasn't. What he wanted was not what I wanted anymore . He became angry and mean. He hurt me and broke my heart in every possible way and took advantage of all the kindness my heart had to offer. I forgave time after time after time ; until I didn't. Time has passed and meeting boys is let down after let down BUT ... I am so proud of myself. I still have FAITH in GOD in kindness and in the goodness in people. I remain putting myself out there and am willing to love and care for someone. I'm still willing to put my heart in someone's hands and to trust. 🖤

While Christmas Eve is probably my fav day of this season I also feel sad the season is coming to an end. But while I feel sad Christmas is nearly over and my genre of music will have to change and the decorations will all have to come down, I am also well aware of the stronger kind of heartache at this time of year. To those who feel so broken and ruined, to those who have missing places at their dinner tables, to those who are distraught with regrets, those who feel isolated and alone, and those not sure of the point of it all.... Although the days are long and the nights are longer there is always hope. I'll give you my time over a cup of coffee any day, I'll sit with you, hold your hand. The silence can sometimes be excruciating but you are not in it alone. No matter what you feel there are people who love you. You are worth it. I'll be your friend. And I know I'm not the only one. There are still good people in this crazy world and we all need each other. My prayer for you this Christmas is of peace, hope, love. There is joy to be found, just for you.
