Date: Waning Crescent Moon, Early Spring

Ivy says we didn’t choose them—they chose us. I think she just didn’t want to admit she’s becoming a full-blown cat lady.

It started with Thistle.

He just appeared one morning, sitting on the porch rail like he'd been watching us sleep. Black as midnight, one eye gold, the other green. He didn’t meow—just stared at Ivy like he knew her.

She stared right back. And then opened the door without a word.

Now he sleeps in her cauldron (when it’s cold), guards the basement stairs, and hisses at the wind like he’s got beef with it. Ivy calls him her “watcher.” I think he might actually be older than she is.

The second one was Wisp.

A silver tabby who… well, comes and goes. One minute she’s on the windowsill. The next? Gone. No sound. No pawsteps. Just vanished like a breeze with whiskers. Ivy swears she’s real, but I’m not entirely sure I didn’t dream her up during a lavender tea-induced nap.

Wisp purrs like a little ghost and bats at the pendant around my neck when she thinks I’m not looking.

And then there’s Maple.

Big, fluffy, ginger—and ridiculously affectionate. She flopped into my lap the moment she came inside and has basically never left it. Sleeps by my feet. Follows me when I go into the garden. Growls (adorably) at Vlad if he so much as passes by the cottage.

Ivy says Maple reminds her of someone. She won’t say who. But I think it’s my mom.

So now it’s official: We live in a two-witch, three-cat, one-llama, six-chicken cottage of utter chaos and absolute magic. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Except maybe some lint rollers.

Hey Tumblr friends! 👋 I’m super excited to say this is my very first post! After finally creating my Tumblr, I’m still figuring out what kind of content I want to share. There are so many cool options, and honestly, I’m a bit torn. Should this space be for personal thoughts, creative work, or just a mix of everything I love? 🤔

What Should I Post? Exploring Ideas

There’s a ton of inspiration around Tumblr, which makes it exciting but also tricky to decide on a direction. Here are some of the options I’m considering:

1. Personal Blog

I could use this space like a journal, sharing daily life experiences, thoughts, or even mini life updates. It would be a more casual, authentic vibe, letting me connect with others who might relate to what I’m going through. Plus, it could be a great way to document life and look back on my personal growth.

2. Creative Writing and Poetry

I’ve always had a passion for words. Whether it’s short stories or poetry, Tumblr seems like the perfect space to share that creative side. I could post snippets of my writing or even work on a longer project in chapters. There are so many amazing writers on Tumblr that I’ve come across, and it would be fun to join in on that creative community.

3. Book Reviews and Recommendations

As an avid reader, I’m always discovering new books and authors, so why not use Tumblr to share my thoughts on what I’m reading? Whether it’s detailed reviews, quick recommendations, or even bookish discussions, it could be a great way to connect with fellow readers. Plus, I could keep track of my reading journey and maybe even inspire others to pick up a new book.

4. Reblogging and Curation

Let’s be real: Tumblr is a goldmine for cool content. I could simply focus on reblogging things I love, like funny memes, aesthetic photos, inspiring quotes, or interesting posts from others. Curation is its own form of expression, and it might be a fun way to explore and share my favourite rite things without overthinking it.

Finding My Style

One thing I’m quickly learning about Tumblr is that it doesn’t have to be just one thing. I can combine different types of content — writing, reblogging, books, and more. My Tumblr can be a mix of everything I enjoy, which feels true to who I am. Right now, I’m open to experimenting and seeing what resonates with me (and with all of you!).

What’s Next?

So, I graduated like… wait, let me count on my fingers… three months ago? And honestly, I feel so unbelievably free, it's kinda terrifying. I’ve had way too much time to just sit, stare at my story folders, and, well… exist. But guess what? I’m kinda back. Out of nowhere, I got this crazy burst of motivation to actually do something. Shocking, right?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been writing, sending out job apps, and even learning how to drive (which, by the way, is way less stressful than deciding if my main character should die in the end). But now? Now I’m taking things seriously. I’m pushing my writing further, focusing on myself, and ignoring anyone who tries to tell me otherwise.

"I could do this all day."

I started this blog as a way to share my passion for style and to connect with others who share my love for fashion. I hope y'all join me on this journey as we explore the wonderful world of fashion 

      This whole passion for fashion (It rhymes 🤭😂) started as a kid when I see my mum dressed up in really beautiful and planned outfits 

It intrigued me a lotttt. As I got older my passion evolved and I started to develop my own personal style,  I love how fashion allows me to tell my story and how it connects me to other people who share my love for style.
