☼ THE NATURALS

🌊 ── CASSIE HOBBES applies an insane amount of sunscreen, claiming she burns really easily (she does). she always has a one piece and cute sunglasses. she collects a lot of seashells and likes to help build sand castles. mom friend who makes everybody drink lots of water.

🌊 ── MICHAEL TOWNSEND very much enjoys scaring seagulls away and the larger waves. he pulls up in swim trunks, red heart sunglasses (think taylor swift 22 music video), and one of those dad 'women want me fish fear me' shirts. he is a lover of water guns and is frequently finding excuses to 'accidentally' fire his water gun in dean's direction.

🌊 ── DEAN REDDING is always finding sunglasses in the lake for some reason. (me too dean.) he has a tshirt and cargo shorts (with lots of pockets to hold whatever of cassie's seashells she can't carry) that are specifically for the beach. good at helping with sandcastles.

🌊 ── SLOANE TAVISH also needs to wear a lot of sunscreen so she doesn't burn. she is content to wander up and down the beach walking in the surf for hours. she has a two piece that lia got her, which she always wears cutoff shorts with. the best sandcastle maker. she usually picks up a few rocks to take home.

🌊 ── LIA ZHANG steals michael's water guns and ambushes him with them. she has a different pair of sunglasses every time they go to the beach. her bathing suit depends on her mood (and whether or not her and michael are on) but she usually goes for something fun and colorful.

🌊 ── CELINE DELACROIX loves swimming and is always the one to get sloane in the water. michael challenges her to races and always loses. she has a few different colorful two piece sets and some fancy sunglasses. she spends a lot of time in the water but also likes to just lie on the beach.

🌊 ── AARON SHAW is along for the ride and prepared in case anyone starts drowning. he likes to help sloane with her very elaborate sand castles and usually finds a few cool rocks to take back for cara (his adopted sister in case y'all forgot who that was.) he always shows up in a tshirt and shorts which is EXTREMELY casual for him.

☼ THE INHERITANCE GAMES

🌊 ── AVERY GRAMBS does a little bit of everything. she tans for a while, and when that gets old she'll help with sand castles or jump in the water. she has a dark green two piece that everyone assumes is designer but is actually probably from some small business. loves beach lunches (cheese, crackers, deli meat, fruits/veggies)

🌊 ── JAMESON HAWTHORNE is very much about the big waves. if the waves are big he's going in regardless of anything else. he wipes out on the kick boards a lot. if someone reminds him to hydrate he will chug like an entire water bottle and call it good. black swim trunks no shirt. do you guys know that scene in avatar the last airbender at the beach when zuko rips his shirt off and seagulls fly behind him or whatever...? that.

🌊 ── GRAYSON HAWTHORNE would not have come at all if it weren't for gigi and lyra. he hangs out on the beach and reads his poetry collections or whatever. towards the end of the day he and lyra will wander a little ways down the beach and usually collect a few rocks or seashells or something.

🌊 ── NASH HAWTHORNE is basically the dad you see standing in the surf in a tank top, shorts, hat, and sunglasses with his hands on his hips, just surveying the water. like that's literally all i need to say. aside from the hat is obviously a cowboy hat

🌊 ── XANDER HAWTHORNE is a master at building very elaborate sand castles. he makes it his mission to build the beaches coolest sand castle and top his last creation. he usually hangs with max at the sandbar for a while. his swim trunks change but usually have a very bright and colorful pattern on them that you can spot from a mile away

🌊 ── MAX LIU almost drowns about five times while they're there. she is never really too bothered by this. she wears a colorful patterned bikini under an oversized tshirt and cat eye sunglasses every time. her favorite part about the beach is the sandbar (although it can be a struggle for her to make it there sometimes, depending on how big the waves are.)

🌊 ── LIBBY GRAMBS is a wader. she has a dark colored (not black but some darker shade of a color) one piece and she always brings a cooler full of cupcakes. she picks up a ton of rocks and seashells and nash stashes them in his pockets. she will make you apply sunscreen. she also regularly gets burned herself.

🌊 ── LYRA KANE loves the beach. she does a little bit of everything from swimming to tanning to climbing sand dunes to building sand castles. she has turned out to be quite good at building sand castles! she has a pale purple two piece and usually puts on a light flannel or a large tshirt over top of it when she's not in the water.

🌊 ── GIGI GRAYSON lives for going to the beach. she brings all the beach toys and a ton of snacks. somehow, she became the unofficial photographer. she has a purple two piece and a rash guard with cats on it as well as oversized sunglasses that continuously fall off throughout the day. she is the one to insist they go for ice cream at the end of the day

🌊 ── SAVANNAH GRAYSON comes to the beach somewhat reluctantly but always ends up enjoying herself. she likes swimming as far out as she can. she has a black one piece and some fancy sunglasses. pretends not to enjoy herself most of the time. she collects rocks.

🌊 ── ROHAN KEWL does not really like swimming. however he entertains himself by sneakily shooting water guns at people. gigi bought him a rash guard that he reluctantly wears with shorts. hates hates hates getting sand in his shoes but unfortunately he spends all his time in the sand.

☼ THE DEBUTANTES

🌊 ── SAWYER TAFT always shows up to the beach in an oversized tshirt, cutoff shorts, and some dumb hat that says something like 'women want me fish fear me' or 'big dick is back in town'. she never applies sunscreen. she will wander up and down the beach collecting rocks and is very good at skipping them.

🌊 ── LILY TAFT organizes the whole trip. she brings everything and is the one reminding you to drink water and reapply your sunscreen and whatnot. she has more practical bathing suits but they're still leaning towards being bikinis. she takes the best beach pictures and has anything you could possibly need in her bag!

🌊 ── CAMPBELL AMES tans. she has a different bikini and a different expensive pair of sunglasses every time. she does have a tiny little squirt gun that she fires at walker if he starts annoying her too much. she always tans perfect never burns #goals

🌊 ── SADIE-GRACE WATERS primarily wades. she collects seashells. she has this fancy expensive pink swim suit that she wears every time. she tries to just lay there on the beach and tan like campbell but she usually ends up falling asleep.

🌊 ── NICK RYAN is the unofficial lifeguard who hates his job. he lowkey got dragged along. he just wears a tshirt and shorts cause he don't gaf. like. no one ever almost drowns. he always starts reading some book and then has to put it down so jessi can drag him into the water. he lasts like 5 minutes in the water.

🌊 ── JESSI RYAN has a very colorful two piece bathing suit and loves to show it off. she always complains about how hot the sand is and dives straight into the water asap. she never has just water its always some fruity flavored drink. nick thinks they're weird. which is part of why she drinks them.

🌊 ── BOONE MASON hikes the sand dunes because he claims they're more interesting. sawyer goes with him sometimes but no one else will. he rarely swims (he's not very good at it.) he helps pack snacks and is always drinking a shit ton of water 'just in case' but then has to go pee in the lake.
