I remade this tierlist, to reflect my current opinions on Batman the Animated Series. I didn't like the Trial episode and I find Riddler boring, so I moved all that stuff downward. But I love Alan Rachins. Love that man. He is just...god, Clock King might be the most OCD and/or autistic villain this show made. I see myself in Mister Fugate. And I adore him. Also, every Joker episode is great. Make 'em laugh is even better because it's got Andrea Martin! From SCTV! I love to see old interests reconnect like this. And Malcolm McDowell and US Senator Patrick Leahy randomly being in the Jonah Hex episode made it all the better. So now we have my definitive rankings. These are what i'm sticking with. The best and the worst of Batman the Animated Series.
And since I tagged a bunch of people to my prior post in this vein, let me just tag all the people from that to this, plus a few others who I know that seem interested in comics. @the-fyre-flie @kryptonbabe @v4guelyv4mpiric @billybatsonmylove @c00c00pig @marvel-and-moor @wolfsrahne28 @opossumpal
Edit: I saw one of the episodes in my F tier. "Critters." Now that i've seen it and learned steve gerber helped plot it, the episode definitely gets itself moved to B or C tier. But since I don't want to remake this post, i'm not gonna force myself to watch any more of my E or F tier episodes. But yeah. Critters was actually good, in a weird B movie style way. I underestimated it. Should I now remake my tierlist to reflect these new opinions? I'm considering it.
