The whole batfamily makes me uncomfortable to a certain extent, because it's always writer's choice whether or not they'll kill people. Wikipedia told me Barbara Gordon became more pragmatic and willing to consider casualties in the post crisis era. I know Jason Todd went from the best robin to DC's ripoff of the punisher! (Well, not quite. But you understand what I mean). And Batman...well, batman is equally complicated. I naturally distrust a character who's shadowy and paranoid and stuff. And even when he isn't violent, I sometimes expect him to be. Thankfully, media like Batman 1966, Batman: The Brave and The Bold and The Batman (2004) help me fight against the stigma I have. But it's still really hard to feel complete confidence liking the batfamily sometimes. So how am I supposed to reflect this in a tierlist? That's what I'm wondering. How do I reflect this in a tierlist? Do I just rank them based on their best appearances? Or do I need a specific tier for this whole breed of characters? I'm working on my tier list now, but advice is appreciated and welcomed.
PS: Working on the tierlist is helping me not stress as much as I could. I was really stressed earlier. If you saw the posts, you know. Even if you didn't see them, you know now. But a tierlist means delving into something beyond my real life suffering. It means escapism. And escapism is important, because it keeps me from total stress based ruination. Or something to that effect.
