Like her father, she is an expert Skidoo/Gogoat rancher and helped raise some of the most prized Gogoat in their herd. She raised her own Gogoat, Otto, from a runty Skidoo who was rejected by its mother to a prize winning champion in the local contests (not to be confused with a showcase). Sparta was adopted by Daylee when she was very young. She was relaxing while watching the Skidoo yearlings when the little Skitty seemed to appear from out of nowhere, badly hurt. She and her mother rushed him to the pokemon center where he proceeded to be the worst patient the local Nurse Joy had ever worked with. They thought they would end up releasing him back into the woods near the farm due to his extremely feral behavior, but when he was finally healed up he wouldn't leave, instead following Day around and sleeping outside her window (Penny and Rick didn't want to have a wild pokemon in the house while Day was so sick). One day, Daylee accidentally dropped an empty pokeball while helping her dad with a new skidoo and Sparta quickly bopped it so he would be captured by her. From that day on Day and Sparta have been inseparable, much to her parents dismay.
