Molar went on a coffe run with my sister and I yesterday ♡
I customized my Meowth Build-a-Bear! I made her shiny, and also gave her a better coin. I forget what I originally bought that shiny gold fabric for but it worked perfectly for the front of the coin! I used minky for the back because it's sturdier, so it worked well to ladder stitch to her forehead.
I also took the toe beans from the original paws and ladder stitched them on to her new pink paws. And of course she got plenty of thread sculpting!
I also added a little weight to her limbs and her bum, and her body is lightly stuffed with firmer stuffing in her head and limbs. Perfect for cuddling! I love pink shinies 🩷
I think she is finished. We are bad about doing never ending tweaks on things like this. So, going to leave her alone for a bit and see. If something bothers us for a day or two we may do more.
Anyway, this is a rescue plush. She is in perfect condition though and so, so soft. She reminds me of a marshmallow. I think we will name her Maru.
