WHYYY must I think I should quit right when I start something-- I am absolutely incapable of being happy with my work

Just finished the first pass of the script for a short oneshot comic I'm working on! I am genuinely so excited to release this thing, I'll get started on the art as soon as I can! I'm of course nervous to start working on this, mostly fearing that nobody will read it-- but hey! at least I did it even if nobody reads it!

Allow me to lament about the state of the furry fandom at the moment-- I recently attended a furmeet-- it was fun, but I didn't get the chance to meet as much new people as I wanted. I think the state of this fandom in this moment is... sad. It's very clique-y. I tried to talk to some suiters, but it didn't get anywhere. I'm honestly debating leaving my interaction with this fandom to a minimum. I feel very pushed out-- especially as a non-binary person. I feel as though the fandom has really become an extension of cis-het norms rather than an accepting space that pushes back on that. I already struggle to put myself out there, so this experience really put salt in the wound.
