FRANKIE UPDATES!!
It's been a while since ive made an original post, let alone on my Familiar and her vessel!! I'm not a very outward person on the internet, but I've been accumilating images and hopes for this ongoing project.
It was frankie's (at least her current vessel/form's) 5th birthday this august! I've officially spent 5 year maintaining and crafting this beast! Shes my longest ever project and devotion in a few senses!
on the left is an old picture of her, on the right is a fresh one with her leg update!!
I decided to give her bigger rabbity feet and to increase how digitgraded she was! You cant see it under her pants, and I'm embarrases to say that I never took *proper* pictures of what her legs looked like inbetween straight legged and now, but hopefully these pics can help you visualize!
I have also widened her tummy, butt and chest which i dont feel like showing in too much detail at the moment (but i do have dedicated pictures of unlike her prior legs 😅) but I plan on making her torso longer as my next 'growth spurt' project, which will include her mid torso and her shoulders and neck (and will probably promptly transition to me redoing her arms (which i ALSO need to take dedicated pictures of before i redo them!!))
After her body's growth spurt, I'll be doing my most challanging craft for her yet - *making her a new, larger head.*
The first two pictures in the trio above are older, but not too old and are a great front and back of her head! Yes the plushie eyes are put on haphazardly. When i make her larger head, i plan on making them all inset with *eye lids* around them on both the back of her head and for her main eyes in the front. Still havent made blueprints for that, but i have plenty of spare eyes to test with!
The third image is of a dog skeleton decor skull i got to make frankie a bigger jaw with. As you can see from the middle picture, her mouth opens! Thats because she has a Feisty Pet jaw mechanism! I got a second F.P. jaw and I want to figure out how to combine its hardware with the dog jaw before putting it in her larger face. I have already taken apart and tinkered with the hardware as much as i can currently and I'm excited for the challange!! Ill nedd to not only find a way to attach and make the parts move together, but I *really* need to play dentist and give it better teeth, gums, and construct a whole muzzle around it! Very excited!
And lastly for now, sacrifices!!! The first image are a bunch of thrifted toys i have either used on frankie already or i have made plans on how to use them in her growth!
The second image is her sitting next to an unaltered bunny which is the original type she was! This bunny will also be a sacrifice, but in the future I will get a third bunny which will stay whole and unaltared : )
