It was never about peace or making things better. It was about keeping things the same, even if it meant people would get hurt in the process, and proving how much better we are than everyone else. Bullying other nations just so we can have it all isn't going to make things better. That's how the next World War starts. And they'll say they don't want that, but if it happens, they'll go full on "'MERICA WILL WIN!" mode. I'm so tired of these arrogant, stubborn people who's patriotism that borders on egotism trying to guilt trip me into believing they're not bad people. I'm tired of them insisting things go back to the way they were and growth is bad. Growth is natural. Growth is good for you. It's the whole reason you're here right now, isn't it? Hell, we didn't survive this long because we were afraid to make changes. How about instead of making America great again, we make it better. Because right now, we're not great. Not by a longshot. We're becoming self-centered, bratty, entitled, and egotistical. And they'll say that's how it's supposed, but it's not. You're making a choice. Make a better one.
And I know this is kind of a heavy topic for me to talk about, but I can't be silent about this. That's what they want. For you to keep quiet and not do anything because "They're not bad people!" America is supposed to be the land of free, home of the brave. Not land of rich, home of empty promises. And it's my home, and I can't let people do this to it. And it's yours too. Don't let them guilt trip you into staying quiet.
