so one of the schemes i’m applying through to move abroad to teach english will fund your travel expenses and initial living expenses until you get your first paycheque if you have under a certain amount of money to your name and so I applied for the funding bc i’m dirt poor and they ran a basic credit check and i failed it so i was like ??? but i have no money and they said i have bonds that disqualify me because they’re over a certain amount so i told this to my mum and she just HAPPENED to be like ‘oh yeah i put some money away under your name and your sister’s name because i reached the limit in my own name’ and turns out all this time i’ve had 40Ks worth of premium bonds in my name that i could’ve cashed in and ran away with!!!! this woman has some nerve!!!! :O
