🕷️ → IT WASN’T JUST A COINCIDENCE THAT SHE FELL ILL during track yesterday morning, ( although it looked that way since May never got ill ) but during the 4 agonising hours May was awake and the 20 she was asleep for, her DNA had been going under some major reconstruction. Cells had been tearing apart to change it’s genetic coding. Basically, long story short, May was getting an upgrade ( and a bonus: she didn’t need to be bitten by a spider for it! )
Eyes fluttered open, whiskey strands brushed aside as she sat up in her bed. Brown orbs scanning her surroundings, everything around looked the same, maybe a bit more messy, but nothing out of the normal. There was a sharp exhale as she stood up; all dizziness had gone, stomach no longer queasy and hands no longer clammy! Whatever was wrong with her, she’d definitely slept it off.
Or so that’s what she thought, stumbling over her own feet, she looked down to see that a poster ( an anti-bullying campaign poster; with the slogan about how to get out of sticky situations, how ironic ) had attached itself to the sole of her left foot. Weight shifting to her right, as she lifted up her left leg, she tried to remove the poster. After a couple of tears, it mostly came free; a few bits stuck to her fingertips but nothing she wasn’t able to wipe off. She’d been so engaged with fighting the anti-bully poster that she’d totally skipped past the mirror as she sprinted down stairs. Not only had her DNA changed, but her body also changed. Chiselled abs and toned arms didn’t come over night, for most, unless years of track and ballet had finally caught up with her, there wasn’t any explanation for this; except for one. She’d finally developed Peters abilities. ❞ DAD! MOM! DAD! ❞ the panic in her voice couple be heard from outside, ❞ DAD! IS ANYONE IN? ❞ she continued to yell as she ran down the hallway towards the kitchen.
