me and my bf have a lot of diff stories but most recently (in the last year or two) we have this invader zim AU we just call ‘cringefest’ because we couldn’t think of a name and that’s the first thing that i thought of.
it consists mostly of the canon shows events, leading up to dib and zim being in highschool. one of the main plot points involving zim distancing himself from the irken empire and becoming more self aware with the fact that nobody wants anything to do with him. so he decides to try and find a purpose on earth.
dib meanwhile is just dib. him and zim have sort of truced aside their evil enemies status, though dib is unaware of zim’s internal moral dilemma
also zim ends up falling in love with dib..where will this go? who knows..especially when we meet dibs lovely and weird girlfriend
there isn’t a cohesive storyline for our au, we do have specific events we imagine to play out but alot of it is just us having fun and goofing around meheh
