A/N: Can we just call this Crastiel? Because that's what I keep calling this ship xD
Request:Â crowley x castiel where crowley wants to do the do but cas doesnt know what to do?
Be Gentle
Things were leading up to this and Castiel isnât a fool. Of course he knows what Crowley has planned for their date tonight. His hands are shaking, trembling, and he blames his borrowed grace when Dean asks about it.
âCas, we need to do something about this.â Dean wouldnât let it go. However annoying his persistence is, Castiel is grateful that his friend cares so much about him.
âI can handle it.â Castiel says again. âIâm just-â
âYouâve been saying crap like that ever since your grace started failing you.â Dean takes a long sip of his beer and stares Cas down.
âYouâre right.â Cas concedes. âBut- I canât just steal more grace. Itâs complicated, Dean.â
âNo, itâs not.â Dean stands. âGo take out one of those rogue angels Hannah keeps bugging you about and juice up, man!â
âSo I am to decide who lives and who dies to make sure that I live?â Castiel expects this sort of behavior from Hannah, but he didnât think Dean would resort to this. âItâs not my place to decide who lives and who dies, Dean. The reason any of this started is because of me, and I shouldnât make the rest of the angels suffer for my own sake.â
âCas-â Dean pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs, âyou canât just give up, man.â
âIâm not giving up.â Castiel stalks away. âIâm trying to find an alternative.â
Although he knows he doesnât have enough mojo to get himself back to the bunker the same way, Castiel flies away. He can already sense Deanâs regret at his words and makes a mental note to make sure Dean understands that Castiel isnât mad at him. Just frustrated.
Their date is scheduled in another twenty minutes and Castiel is surprised to find Crowley already waiting for him. That same devilish grin he gets every time his eyes settle on the angel makes Castiel forget his confrontation with Dean entirely. Crowley takes a moment to see his angel. Not just look at him, but see him. Castielâs cobalt blue eyes never cease to shine and it feels like the first time every time he sees them. He never got bored of seeing Castiel in his trench coat and tie. He likes the tie most of all because he can use it as a means to pull Castiel closer without touching him. The anticipation and nervousness that it creates in his angel is almost as good as the kisses themselves.
âSomeoneâs eager.â Crowleyâs voice is low and intimate, and he knows Cas likes it that way.
âI wasnât the first one here.â Castiel couldnât stop a red hot blush from rising to his cheeks when Crowley takes his tie and pulls him closer.
âThatâs irrelevant.â Their noses brush and Castiel pulls away slightly.
âActually, thatâs very relevant.â He tilts his head in confusion and Crowley smiles. He kisses his angel tenderly.
âAre you ready?â Crowley laces their fingers together, ready to take him to Italy.
âI guess so.â Casitel coughs. âI canât go with my-â
âI know.â Crowleyâs brow creases with worry, but heâs quick to hide it. This night is going to be special. He doesnât want Castiel to know how worried he is for him, that would only make him feel guilty. Crowley wants Cas to have at least one night where he doesnât have to worry about his failing grace, or the Mark, or anything but his own feelings and desires that will be met without the slightest hesitation.
A breath later, they are standing in front of a cute Italian restaurant. Itâs a corner shop and doesnât have very many patrons. Prior to their plan to come here for their date, Crowley had drawn sigils to make it almost invisible to both angels and demons unless they knew exactly where to go. Castiel wants their love secret, and Crowley respects his wish for discretion.
After they are seated, Crowley orders for both of them, something he knows Castiel will like.
âYou look amazing.â Crowley whispers. He shamelessly stares at Castiel and lets his eyes linger on places he canât wait to see.
âThank you.â Castiel blushes and looks away bashfully. Desire is clear in Crowleyâs eyes and he knows exactly whatâs running through the demonâs head. His hands are shaking again and he hides them under the table. âYou- are very handsome yourself.â
Crowley smirks and Castielâs vessel reacts in a way that deepens the shade of red on his face. Crowley doesnât have to see to know that the night is going according to plan.
Their meals are served and they make light conversation while they eat. Castiel has more than a fair share of stories about Sam and Dean, although he doesnât divulge anything that could help Crowley in his attempts to foil the Winchesters plans.
âWas he really drooling?â Crowley laughs.
âYes.â Castiel chuckles softly. âDean loves pie. Sam burned it, but Dean was gracious and ate it anyway. Although, I think he threw most of it away after Sam went to bed.â
Crowley laughs again and wipes his mouth. Theyâd all but finished their dinner and he raises his eyebrows. âDo you feel like getting dessert?â
âUm-â Castiel doesnât know what he feels. Heâs so comfortable around Crowley, yet heâs dreading what he knows Crowley wants. Itâs not that he doesnât trust Crowley or that he doesnât want it himself, itâs his lack of experience in anything remotely close to this. Once with a reaper, but that was different. He didnât feel as strongly then as he does now. Staring into Crowleyâs exquisitely green eyes, Castiel canât decide. âYes. I would very much like dessert.â
âOf course.â Slightly disappointed, but nonetheless willing to wait, Crowley orders the next course for them. The only thoughts that occupy his mind are what Castielâs lips will taste like when they finally get out there. Crowley made sure to order something different from Cas. He wants to be surprised. Only when Castiel stopped eating his dessert did Crowley notice his trembling hands.
âAre you alright?â Crowley takes one of Castielâs hands. âYouâre shaking, love.â
âIâm just- nervous.â Castiel admits.
âAbout what?â Crowley squeezes his hand reassuringly.
âI know- what you want.â Castiel looks at his plate, suddenly losing a taste for the sugary dessert.
âAnd- you donât want to.â Crowleyâs heart sinks, but he doesnât let his disappointment show.
âI do.â Castiel says quickly. âI- I do. Iâm just-â
Suddenly, they are no longer in the restaurant. Extravagant furniture and ornate rugs fill a penthouse hotel room. The lights are dramatic and they highlight the best features on both men.
âIâll be gentle.â Crowley promises.
âIâm just afraid that-â Castiel pulls away and turns from Crowley, âIâm afraid that I wonât be enough- for you.â
Crowleyâs arms wrap around Castielâs waist and his lips find Casâs neck. âYou couldnât disappoint me, darling.â He explores Castielâs chest with his hands tenderly and removes the trench coat, all the while warming Castiel up with soft kisses and gentle bites.
Castielâs nerves are near breaking point when Crowley slowly slips off his tie. His body cries out desperately for Crowley, but he fear returns with more strength than he thought possible. He turns to face Crowley and makes him meet his eyes. Searching for a reason to say no, Castiel studies Crowleyâs face. Itâs clear that he could search all night and not find one reason to say no aside from his own fears that he would disappoint his lover and he takes Crowleyâs face in his hands and kisses it ardently. Renewed energy fills his body, not unlike that of stealing grace but it didnât have the pureness that grace held. This is rebellious and thatâs one of the many secret reasons Castiel fell in love with the King of Hell.
Crowleyâs fingers are fast and they unbutton Castielâs shirt almost effortlessly. He pulls it off of Castielâs shoulders and arms before ever so slowly tugging it out of his waistband, stimulating a response that scares Castiel. His trust in Crowley defeats his fears and he allows Crowley to lead him to the king-sized bed that lay just beyond two oak doors. Slowly lowering themselves onto the bed, Castiel removes Crowleyâs tie slowly, cautiously.
âThatâs right.â Crowley reassures him. âI can get the jacket if you want to start with the buttons, love.â
Grateful for Crowleyâs instruction, Castiel fumbles with the buttons on Crowleyâs shirt, making him laugh. Too quickly, Castiel removes Crowleyâs shirt and his hands get stuck. Cas blushes, Crowley kisses him harder and frees himself from his clothing.
âWould you like to the honors, or shall I?â Crowley tugs at Castielâs belt and an alarming sensation shoots through him.
âPlease.â Castiel breathes. Crowley kisses Castielâs neck again and again, all the while working the belt off of Castielâs body. Then the buttons of his pants and Castiel grips his hands tightly, his old fears returning.
âWhat is it?â Crowley moves down to Castielâs chest, embarrassing the angel with the blatant desire that heâs being shown.
âI donât know what to do.â Castiel is filled with regret.
âYou donât have to.â Crowley whispers, gently working his fingers into the angelâs waistband.
âBut what if-â
âIâve already got what I want.â Crowley says. âThis is about you. Let loose, pretty boy. Anything you want.â
Castiel wants a lot and even more now that Crowley has moved his lips to his waist.
âAnything?â Castiel can hardly think over the demands of his pulsing libido.
âAnything.â Crowleyâs promise sends lusty shivers down Castielâs spine. Only a moment of indecision passes before Castielâs fears are vanquished and the two embrace the passion that now holds them captive. Every need and want is met, and Castielâs doubts are gone before the night is over.
