I often think about Sam falling in love with Castiel because if an angel of the lord could love him then maybe he wasnât as dirty or tainted by demon blood as he thought.
I wish Castiel had wings in the show, but hereâs my take on Castiel with wings (And Sastiel). Castiel is able to hide his wings, he keeps them hidden almost all the time. Castiel hid his wings unless he needs them, thatâs until he meets Sam. When they start dating and sleeping in the same bed (even though Cas doesnât sleep) Castiel stopped hiding his wings during the night. Samâs nightmares that had plagued him for years seem to stop when he falls asleep wrapped up in Castiels wings, itâs the only way Sam can get away from Lucifer and azazel and everything heâs done because of the demon blood. Itâs the first since Jess that Sam has slept without waking up in a cold sweat.
