How do you kill / make a vampire? :3

OKAY SO this is very interesting. In my world, vampires are actually an accident. They weren’t meant to exist, and weren’t thought of until they did exist.
How they’re created is a an exchange of blood. Only the person who is a vampire needs to do the exchange—which I get defeats the definition of exchange but SHHH—and even a drop will do. Theoretically, and this is not proven (in world) the more blood, the faster the change. However it has not been pinpointed and is just a hypothesis. Originally, before vampires existed, the turnings were solely caused by Strix—a creature created by one of the main deities (Terra). These are called hellish. What had happened was, after creation, these Strix started attacking humans, their blood got was injected accidentally, and that’s how the first few vampires were made. More on the Strix/Terra if someone asks cause it’s TOO MUCH to get into rn.
Killing vampires is a different story. Vampires in my world not only are super fast and strong, but are self healing. I didn’t make this connection at first but after binging x-men I can say think about Wolverine. Kinda like that. Ish. Anyway. Because of their abilities, it makes them near impossible to kill. The older the vampire gets, the worse it is, and the stinger their abilities. So, how can you kill a vampire? Injury them beyond healing (think decapitation, major wounds. If they can get away there’s a chance that they’ll wait it out and heal.) The other way is to starve them. Vampires need magic from human blood to stay alive. Once weakened, it’ll be easier to kill them. This is dangerous, however, because eventually you get what’s called the Ceasone state where they revert to their base instincts and act like the Strix once did.
Now, my favourite part of the deal, the part where I tell you how Dr. Farbridge reacted or found out about these things. (After this, I think I’m gonna write a post briefing who Farbridge is, and then I can link it here/every time I answer something. We’ll see how that goes, though.)
Dr. Farbridge, a scientist that was born in 1533 and was alive for the scientific revolution, was the first turned. The reason they were turned was because they found an injured Strix, and while healing studied it. One day, they wanted to let the Strix out, and that’s when all hell broke loose (no pun intended.) The Strix attacked, and then immediately went for their friends, turning them as well. You can only imagine the guilt they felt when they realized what happened, and about how they were the ones to bring this on their family/the world. This, along with Farbridge witnessing/performing turnings is how we know the ways to create a vampire.
As for how they figured out how to kill a vampire, that was mostly figured out during the Battle of the Clans (a mass war over territory/who would “rule” the vamps—more on that if someone asks). Now, Farbridge wasn’t the one who figured this out. Instead, it’s because they stumbled across on of their own Charm (descendant). Someone from a rival clan must have attacked and fled before Farbridge could see who it was. After that, Farbridge deduced how to kill a vampire and took it from there.
