CRK characters who deserved (better) more screentime part 2.5.
Yes, I know three of them already got enough screentime, but there is something that I need to rant about involving them and them being the most wasted important characters in CRK so far or being important intreasting characters reduced to plot devices for the ancients.

(1. The timing)
They were introduced to us during half way through act 1 and four of them died at the end of act 1.
The reason why I think Devsisters' timing is terrible is because, They made The beasts the most intreasting villains, that had so much potential and development for future updates, but since They were introduced in the middle of the first act and We were already focusing on Dark Enchantress and The cookies of darkness's schemes to give them a real spot light, they just felt like They were used as plot devices for The heroes' victory.

(2. The plot devices and non-threateningness)
Their updates' story always plays out the same. The ancients and Their sidekicks go to their stronghold in beast yeast, they get defeated and you think this is the end for Them, then...BOOM Their soul jams are awakened and The beasts are defeated for now!
It just feels like They were used to awaken The ancients, give them character development, drive the story forward then thrown in the waste bin.
And the fact that four of Them were killed off at the end of act 1 was the worst story idea Devsisters could ever think of, if you are going to make intreasting, powerful, intimidating, lore filled villains, DON'T MAKE THEM CASH GRABBING, ONE DEMISONAL, PATHETIC PLOT DEVICES!!
Phew...I hope Timekeeper Cookie fixes everything and brings Them back to live, because I will NOT stand for this ending! Never!
What pisses me off is that They get defeated AGAIN! but this time by The elementals and the faerie kingdom knights! which makes them so non-threatening and pathetic.

I know what your think 'THEY ONLY SEE THE HOLDERS AS VESSELS' abd 'THERE THE REASON ALL THIS HAPPENED' and I agree with the second one, but let's consider what I'm going to say right now:
The light of happiness was the only one hesitant to go with the light of solidarities plan. And it's split, the light of passion was one of the only souljams to help hollyberry cookie with her trauma. And let's also not forget what the virtues purpose were. The light of knowledge purpose was to be a distributor of knowledge to cookiw kind, the light of volition purpose was to grant wishes a give purpose to others, change purpose was to oversee creation, and solidarity was to simply protect the weak and be the ground for morality. Knowledge, volition, change, and solidarity somewhat didn't get to experience cookie kind and connect with them cause of their purpose wasn't connected to that. I think the light of solidarity knew they had to protect cookies and knew the beast doings were wrong, but was only fighting against them because they knew it was wrong at first.
While happiness was to nurture and ease the burdens of cookie kind, meaning they were the only virtue to experience connection with cookies. So it makes sense the other virtues wouldn't entirely see the holders as anything but vessels since they're purpose got in the way of connecting with them and cookie kind
And they had a point to keep the truth a secret because I think before shadow milk cookie and the other beasts found out the truth, the reason he didn't go after the witches was because the implication of them sealing them away ment they were still watching them, he still had some trust and loyalty to them, explaining why he barely talked about them in act 1. But once the truth came out, he probably lost all loyalty and trust of the witches since they did absolutely nothing and didn't care what they did, so it makes sense he's talking about them more in act 2.
So in conclusion, if we have to blame anyone for acts one and two, it's the witches and dark enchantress cookie
i think many people still thought about shadow milk aggressiveness towards pure vanilla is hate, but for me, he's just like two side of the same coin, imagine if those two side try to collide with each other, what would it be then?
he want pure vanilla with him yes, but does he hate when his vulnerable side is shown? also yes, although i wanna hear others opinion of how yall perceive him, cause shamil character clearly has a trust issue that affects him to act this way
The headcanon that Burning Spice is smelly or dirty is rooted in racism.
There is a stereotype that Indians are unhygienic and stinky and well, Burning Spice happens to be Indian(or at least based on a God that originated in India) annnddddd I really doubt there's a coincidence here.
Also it just feels.. Incorrect? Like that man used to be a king, he wouldn't be smelling bad. I have zero clue where this headcanon might've stemmed from if not racial biases.
"It's not that deep!" It is actually. Racism is extremely serious. We can't let these stereotypes spread around in our fandom because they genuinely hurt others.
If you happen to have this headcanon, maybe consider why that is. What was it that caused you to assume Burning Spice must be unhygienic? In most people's cases it is probably a bias you haven't checked yet.
I'm not fun-policing and saying "don't have headcanons" or whatever, I'm just saying some headcanons are bad and this one is an example. It comes from a racial stereotype and could easily be hurtful to Indians, not just in the fandom, but in general. I don't think you'd like it if someone painted your entire race as gross, dirty people who smell bad, so don't do that to Indians.
