I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS SHIT

Never thought a game about sentient cookies could break me as many times as this stupid game has. I cried over COOKIES.

I've been seeing people rant about this update on Tumblr and I'm gonna do the same, but first I neeeeed to talk about these two.

Sadly, I didn't get a lot of screenshots of the scene cause I just wanted it to play out. But the fact that White Lily's last words to Pure Vanilla were "My precious" kills me. I've personally always seen their relationship as kinda one-sided romantically. Pure Vanilla always loved her while White Lily never quite returned his feelings. However, after this scene, I do feel like she loved him in some way. Whatever way she did feel about him, he was her light. He guided her through so much darkness, and I just wished these two spent their last moments together embracing each other.

And honestly, I know this will be controversial, but if any cookie was going to die, I really feel like they made the right decision by choosing White Lily. Dark Enchantress was eventually going to be defeated someday, and White Lily was going to have to go with her. Her death brought me to tears, and that, in my opinion, marks a really damn good character death.

(Also Gingerbrave's whole moment was fucking glorious but I'll leave that whole yap session to the Gingerbrave fans)

what do you mean HE ALREADY TOLD EVERYONE ABOUT THE OVEN?? When did this even happen? Because not ONCE before has he EVER mentioned this, not to mention that the trio in general have apparently already told everyone that they escaped from the witch????

What could have been a really important, dramatic reveal was done off-handedly and offscreen. I WANTED TO SEE THEM HAVE THAT CONVERSATION WHAT THE FUCKKK

Not to mentioned that none of the characters are worried about this? Like everyone's treating it like "oh yeah haha that thing" and GingerBrave isn't even sensitive regarding the topic. Like I'm sorry, isn't the oven the cookie equivalent of HELL?! He should have PTSD! Not to mention that someone should have mentioned this in ep 15 when he got thrown in an oven AGAIN (and he definitely should have been freaking out more when that happened).

before I get hated for siding with purelily keep in mind I am a neutral shadowvanilla shipper just here to educate

I've seen some people saying that lovers can mean familial love. devsis can always play with and shift things around but it generally means actual lovers not just friends in the tarot context

The not being friends is further pushed by the fact that they kept in the burning tree in the right side, the literal flames of passion

For those saying its not purelily because shadow milk is there, hes in his snake form for a reason. In the original card there is the tree of knowledge on the side (like in the crk card) with the snake coiled around it

Now in these kinds of symbolism type stuff the snake around a tree with apples is mostly bringing from the Bible story of the snake tempting eve, aka the snake mostly symbolizes temptation. Maybe since its you know shadow milk headmaster stuff this could symbolize white lilys temptations for knowledge and to learn more, ultimately leading to her demise and suffering all over earthbread.

But the snake can also mean sensual desire, and specially transformation that comes from gaining hidden knowledge, that screams white lily (turning into dark enchantress stuff).

The tree of knowledge also has obviously knowledge but also represents commitment and evolution (like for themselves)

I would comment on how they aren't naked but its a kids game so I won't say that had symbolism lol

It is worth mentioning their positioning, instead of standing together symbolizing unity, commitment, yin and yang, white lily is going forward and pure vanilla maybe even seems hesitant, which hints to them maybe not being together romantically in the end, their souls being separated from each other and different not as parallels but just differnet

Noted that the Roman 6 up top means basically just harmony and completion and its there so maybe its just saying that shes leading him

Also maybe worth noting that yin and yang is a big thing with them and smc & pv are opposites, two sides of the same coin but I don't think theyre pointing at that here.

The background is also different, there is not garden of eden in the crk ver (or smth like it) and there is no angel, this angel is supposed to be like a higher power and transcend their existence but instead its just the door presumably to nether queen

This seems like it could be a parallel, instead of an angel you have simply a door, leading to something negative. The hiddeness/mystery could also be something instead of the very kinda up front angel

But the door and nether queen might not be in place of the angel given that the steps that lead up to the door are in place of the path to the peak of the mountain which has some symbolism of what path to choose to go on property to your destination, possibly eluding again to pure vanilla choosing a path (with or without white lily).

not to mention one of the times was because he got hit by an airship like a fucking bird

Okay, so let's look at the definition of the term pick-me. A pick me is a woman who puts other women down in order to get validation from men.

Now, can we name one instance where White Lily exhibits such behavior? Just one canon moment where she puts down another woman to get attention from a man, and provide an explanation of how it is pick-me behavior. That's all you have to do.

Okay before I start explaining I just want to say that I am not one of THOSE HATERS who randomly spreads misinformation and and calling it Proship etc and hating on it for no reason

I hate this ship because how it is annoyingly everywhere in fact so much that I had to filter it in Tumblr it just gets on my nerves every time I see the fanart (I obviously don't hate the art itself but it's the ship that is the problem)

the ship wars between purelily, Shadowsugar and shadowvanilla is stupid like it's not that hard to just ship what we like without spitting out bullshit, they always try to find a ways to say that it's canon I hear mostly from Shadowvanilla and it just pisses me off (I do find some from purelily and Shadowsugar but it's pretty rare tho),

And these dumbass excuses saying "oh but they made a song about them in the Korean version so it's canon in the Korean version" "the va loves shadowvanilla too" "but-" SHUT. UP. I don't care if you like it I don't care if you want to confirm it cannon but you are NOT making me like this ship

And what makes it worse that sometimes they say white lily is in the way SHE IS NOT IN THE FUCKING WAY white lily only interacted Shadow milk once and you have episode 7 and 8 without her WHAT. DOES. THAT. MAKE. HER. IN. THE. WAY. I also really hate when they make shadow milk as a very jealous/clingy prick that protects pure vanilla it is not cute in any way it is straight up just annoying when it comes to characters who becomes jealous when the other characters are with the others

Oh and don't get me started when some of you guys say that he will get a redemption in act 2 I swear to god I am going to rip my hair out whoever says that again SHADOW MILK ISN'T SHADOW MILK THE ULTIMATE COOKIE HAS TOOK OVER HIM I KNOW VERY WELL HE IS GOING TO GET SO FUCKED UP AT THE END AND REALISE THAT HE MADE A BIG MISTAKE OF ABSORBING THE ULTIMATE COOKIE and NO pure vanilla isn't going to """fix""" him he tried twice from the past episodes and it failed miserably I don't think he's going to try for third time since he's now a maniac

Now about the ship itself as a dynamic: it's BORING af

Like shadow milk has feelings for Pure vanilla and then vanilla tries to be his friends but NOOOO he decline it because he is a pussy and doesn't want to tell the truth, just wtf dude it's one of those boring romantic dynamics that one person doesn't want to tell the truth about their feelings when the other is just trying to bond with them as friends like there's nothing special in this

It is heavily implied but that is not confirm for me to like it, but I don't understand why in the English version they just decided to erase all the queer shit which just confirms that devsister just likes to queerbait for no reason it's not my problem but but it is for those who ship them

Oh yeah don't get me wrong I do not like some Shadowvanilla haters from what I said on the top they randomly spread misinformation and just hates it for no reason without actually doing some research, and in fact I did almost fell into those misinformation trap but thank god I have found someone named DIANA!! on yt has explained shadowvanilla in a proper way (please do check it out if you don't understand they explained it really well)

Soooo yeahhhh I don't like the dynamic some of the shippers are annoying af which made me hated more and the fanart is everywhere which makes me hate it even more and sometimes it gets to the point that my head hurts I'm so glad that shallowlily saved my ass and actually cures me from all this

And the reason why I prefer shadowlily more than shadowvanilla it's because how very similar there are which makes it pretty interesting and they only interacted once which makes it even more interesting and there's a lot of beautiful fanart especially fountlily
