Consistently show up for your dreams.
Consistently reparent yourself.
Consistently reach out for support (from a therapist, support group, AA/Al Anon/ACA group, or whatever combination of resources that work for you).
Consistently show up for your friends. Ask how they’re doing, remember that important date, check if the restaurant has options they can eat.
Consistently drink water.
Consistently practice compassionate self-talk.
Consistently be kind to strangers.
And, give yourself grace.
Even a tiny move towards these goals can make HUGE waves. Reading 1 page. Responding to 1 text. Taking 1 sip of water. When you can’t do it perfectly, just do as much as you can. And celebrate showing up as a win.
