Since conservatards don’t seem to understand what it means to have their Net Neutrality taken away,
The problem with the way the FCC is setting this up is that the door is now open for ISPs to be able to block, throttle and prioritize content as they see fit. The FTC won’t be able to preemptively stop them from doing this because there are no rules that say they can’t.
Currently with Net Neutrality there are these rules. Which is why NN had to become a thing, just in case your hatred for Obama and everything he does made you forget this!

de Blasio Perfect Picture of What’s Wrong With Liberalism
Miosotis Familia, a 12 year veteran of the NYPD, was shot and killed in an unprovoked attack the other day. She was a mother of three children, working hard to support her family and keep New Yorkers safe. And what does the pure definition of liberalism, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, do? He rushes off to Germany so he can be a keynote speaker at a protest of capitalism, a protest of police, and a protest for socialism.
524 new recruits for the New York Police Department were to be sworn in as official police officers, an event that is usually...and universally...attended by the New York mayor to personally congratulate them and assure them that he has their back. And what does the pure definition of liberalism, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, do? He rushes off to Germany so he can be a keynote speaker at a protest of capitalism, a protest of police, and a protest for socialism.
If New Yorkers re-elect this person, what a stain they will put on that once, great city. Yes, ‘once’. New York has been the capitol of capitalism for well over a hundred years, if not longer. It is the hub of all things financial in this country. It displays the Statue of Liberty, heralds Ellis Island as the landing point of those huddled masses yearning to be free, and is such an iconic symbol of American power, prestige and prosperity, it is the main target of terrorists. New York is the apple of America’s eye, and is held up as the shining star of our independence and strong, national heritage.
Yet, New Yorkers continue to elect cretins like de Blasio, who would rather see their police department reduced to disrespect....at the very least...and outright targets of scum criminal elements...at the very worst. He even tells his own son to be wary of police, and this goes out to the public, which in turn harms their ability to be an effective deterrent to crime. de Blasio is the poster boy for liberals, who are fighting tooth and nail to see our country ripped to shreds, our Constitution obliterated, and a multiculturalism so vile to the original conception of America by the founding fathers that they aren’t just turning in their graves, they are spinning like a class 5 tornado.
The ‘America First’ slogan of Trump is a poison worse than hemlock to liberals, for they want borderless countries...entitlements for everyone to everything from permanent high paying jobs to free toilet paper (of the softest and most luxurious kind)...free college tuition...fifteen to twenty dollars an hour for burger flippers...and acceptance as normal of every kind of mental disorder that exists. They want to teach Islam in schools, and denounce Christianity as a hate cult. They want to be tolerant of everything they believe in, but violently intolerant of everything they don’t believe in. The liberal elites talk about equality for all, while spanning the globe in their private jets and living in multi-million dollar mansions with walls and armed guards, that none of the lower lemmings will ever see. No, the Obama types and O’Donnell types, and Clinton types don’t want to fall into your equality. They have a different idea of equality for the rest of us. Yet, the average liberal doesn’t get it. They don’t see it. What’s worse, they can’t see it.
And neither does de Blasio, one of the elite leaders of all that is wrong with this country. And if you don’t like what I have written, I could not care less.
I should be studying, but I feel like I have to write this lest I forget.
If you find religion and discussions about it uncomfortable, specifically Christianity, then don't read.
Also, for some people who are going to accuse me of not knowing anything about Christianity, I grew up in a Christian home. I was formerly a very devout Christian. I even read the entire Bible, from cover to cover, when I was like 12.
Also, I just want to clarify this isn't an attack on a religion or beliefs, this is me pointing out something fishy within a certain religion. I do not hate anyone based on their beliefs/religion.
Anyways, I was talking with my cousin and my sister about colleges. My cousin was telling us how he likes his college because it's very diverse. I said and agreed that very diverse colleges are very good. That's why I don't like Christian colleges. I added to that statement by saying that I believe that people who go from a Christian high school to a Christian college are pretty sus (because I think that they are afraid of learning other peoples opinions and are prime for being taught extreme Christianity and conservatism, since that's all they kinda know (note, this isn't an attack on if this describes you).
My sister disagreed, saying that those who go to a Christian college probably just want to fellowship and that they are brave for doing so, since Christianity is looked down upon in society.
I literally had to do a double take, because I heard that people believed this, but thought that they were somewhere, out there. I didn't expect to be hearing this rhetoric from my own sister.
The thing is, in a majority of countries, you can't say that you are looked down upon as a Christian. In some Christian minority countries where you might be isolated or forced to hide it, then yes, that argument can be made. I'm not saying that everywhere, Christians face no persecution, because that's obviously not true. I'm saying, in a majority of countries, Christians are not looked down upon. They are treated as the norm, or even the ruling group.
For example, a Kenyan politician, in response to being asked why LGBTQ+ rights are not there, he literally responded "this is a Christian country". If Christians were really being looked down upon in Kenya, then surely, that wouldn't be his response.
Or even in the US. If Christianity was really looked down upon, then why do we say "under God" during the pledge of allegiance (albeit, they don't specify which God, but it is an unnecessary clause added during the Cold War because they believed that Communists and the Soviet Union weren't Christians, but atheist). If Christianity was looked down upon, how come a pastor was able to get up in an Ohio house meeting, in front of many cameras televising him, and say that if you did not accept Jesus, you are demonically possessed?
Or France for example. If Christianity was looked down upon in France, then why was there a push banning hijabs on Muslims in public, but not for nuns (French people, please come correct me on this, I am not too well versed in French politics, so if you have any additional information, please let me know).
The thing is, I understand where this line of thinking comes from. Way back when Christianity started, Christians were persecuted by the Roman empire, literally killed. I'm not saying that kind of behavior's is okay, but as centuries moved, Christians began taking more political control in Europe, spreading and forcing Christianity to it's colonies as well. It's 2023, not 233.
Her fellowship argument doesn't make sense, because going to a non-religious college doesn't stop you from fellowshipping with your Christians. (I want to make it clear that if that I am not against fellowship). In many colleges, there's often a Christian society, prayer groups, bible study's organized by other Christians' students. There are also many churches in the US, so you could always go there for more worship. The point is, if you want that Christian community, you can and will find it, while also being surrounded and exposed to non-Christians and different viewpoints, just like how the real world operates. I personally believe that there is nothing wrong for wanting a community with your beliefs, but that shouldn't be the only thing you know, because that only creates an echo chamber
So, I believe that my sister is incorrect. Unlike Muslims in America after 9/11 (or any vaguely Middle Eastern person, not that it mattered to those who hated them), you will not be, or very unlikely to be attacked, threatened, for just following your faith. You might be called lame for not drinking, or to uptight for sticking to your beliefs, but that's about the worst you will probably get.
Sometimes, I feel like it takes an outside perspective to really see how crazy inside the group really is.
Years from now I'll be telling my kids about how I survived the Obama presidency, not how I had fun during it. I'll be saying that his change was some I could of gone without spending. About how I hoped and prayed every day that this was a horrible, horrible nightmare. And I'd tell them how they would never ever want to live during these freaking years. Not unless they're willing to fight.

political discussions in classes with complete idiots are so frustrating. i ahve no hope for the future of america if the entire world is as ignorant as a majority of my AP US class. No im sorry we cannot grant free education to all the illegal immigrants, have you seen our deficit?!
(Alright tumblr, I've got something I want to share with you)
(This is an email my father just sent me. And it ultimately sums up how we've both been feeling since last night. )
Last week I had to replace our flag out front because it became torn and faded from the weather. I replaced it with a nice new flag with stars and stripes sewn on, larger than the old one too, you know one of those real flags.  We disposed of the old flag properly by burning it and burying the ashes.  Of course I had to get a new flag pole and in order to fly the flag properly I bought a solar light to point keep Old Glory illuminated at night. Well today I took my flag down, turned the light out and put them away,  not just until I get over things, but forever. The flag is now rolled up and in my closet where it will remain until I move to another location. This flag will never fly again as long as I live. Not because of what everyone thinks it does or does not represent. This flag will never fly again because it is Mitt Romney’s flag. It represented to me all that was good and provided the inspiration and hope that I had not felt since Ronald Reagan. There may be other flags or banners that fly at my home but this flag will remain stored away along with my memories. Mitt Romney did not need to be President, he has everything that would ever need or want including all the riches and power that he could ever imagine. Mitt Romney wanted to be President for love of his country and the people that make it up. The people of the state of Virginia should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to this man and the people of this country should be even more embarrassed to call themselves Americans and for doing what they did to a man that only wanted to right the wrongs that we have suffered through for the past 4 years. To me Mitt Romney is a true hero, someone that would be so strong that they would want to step into this mess could not be anything less. We all could have seen the second coming, the second coming of leadership, strength and compassion, yes just like our hero Ronald Reagan.
The night that I shook hands with Mitt was a night that I knew that I would never forget and looking me in the eye and thanking me for being there will forever be remembered. Just like my Mitt flag, I will always cherish what could have been, should have been but will never be again.
The End Of America,
(Also, if you'd like to leave feedback, you can go right ahead, but I warn you, if it is negative, or paints me in more of a negative light than I already have been on here, I will not tolerate it. My father is my hero, my role model, and the one person in the entire world I know I can depend on, so keep that in mind before you start throwing the insults around.
