Weight Watchers complaint
I have come to a point where I feel disrespected and turned into a fool ā I am not the type to get offended easily, if I may add. This is how it goes and what I am on about. Ā *this is the email complaint I sent them with some additional comments (in italic)*

Firstly, I am shocked and highly disappointed. Being a pro healthy lifestyle, I got intrigues by the hype over weight watchers, so I decided to give it a go for a month. See if I like it.I had purchased the first monthly pass in one of the meetings, got told that I did not have any further obligations to continue, if I didn't like it. Yesterday I decided to save a little of money and switch to only online package. I've been with the program for two weeks and now imagine my shock when last night I accidentally came across the fact that I've been already charged for the next monthly pass and had agreed to this by "activating" my account, the account couldnāt be activated without providing bank details. After contacting the help service I got told I canāt be refunded either because, technically, in order to cancel my membership or switch I would have had to do it the day I purchased it, because it needs to be cancelled two weeks prior the validation dates. Ā Am I the only one struggling to find sense in this? Ā Furthermore, if I had contacted WW on the day that the payment was made, there might be something done, but now a refund is not an option. Which, I find bizarre and to make it even more ironic I didn't even have the idea that I was being charged because there was no notice. No luck by contacting my bank either.

Secondly, after contacting the weight watchers customer service and exchanging emails on a Sunday night (3/8/14) at 00:08 (around 25-30 minutes later after the last sent email) I got a call from the person I was emailing with. I can understand that exchanging emails at such hour was my own choice, but getting a call? At midnight on a Sunday? Without any apologize? This I find disrespectful.Ā
If I buy shoes and they don't fit I can get a refund. If I chose to cancel my gym membership less than two weeks prior the validation date I can get a refund if I have already been charged, which by the way I would never be charged two weeks prior. And with WW I can't get a refund? What kind of customer service is that? I work in retailing and this is bellow the lowest of the low customer services I have ever encountered in my life and that only being stated about the 'non-refund policy', I can't even express the disrespect and disappointment towards the late night surprise call. This has got me so worked up that now I am considering to leave the WW in all together, not just switch to the online package. I recommend WW pro-point program but beware of the faults in their shitty costumer service.

Also, if I do stick with the program and just ignore this and do switch to online deal, I will write a review.Ā

I have received an email from them and it states:Ā
"We apologise for any inconveniences.
As per your request, we have cancelled your subscription and credited your account with a full refund.Ā Ā You should see this credit on your statement inĀ 4 to 5 working days.
OnceĀ a subscriber account is cancelled and has expired, it automatically becomesĀ a free CommunityĀ User account. "
This is kind of funny because I am a valid subscriber for another two weeks but as of today I can't log onto the points tracker. This whole mess has made me so angry and justĀ frustratedĀ that I have decided to give up onĀ the whole WW program. I've done some googling and found everything I need toĀ maintainĀ the propoints program without feeding thoseĀ cooperativeĀ pigs my money. I have already posted the 'how many points I getĀ calculator' and I will post the point calculator as well in a sec, I will stick with the propoints program and save some money. I wil do a blog post on 'home weight watchers' at some point.
