I'm trying to find a book I read before, but the only thing I can remember is one line, something like "this family is rich now, but they didn't used to be, and there's nothing rich people hate more than the circumstantially different rich." That turn of phrase stuck out to me, "circumstantially different" as a euphamism for nouveau riche. I don't even remember the genre, but I'm hoping this line is specific enough to ping someone else's memory.
Dammit. Idk what to do. I really wanna make a comic I've been planning on making for a really long time now, but I know exactly how It's gonna end up (this is not a vent btw)
I give up on every comic I start. I finish a few frames and then leave it behind and never continue it. Idk why, I try my best to start drawing again but I can't. I starts feeling like a duty, not like something I'm making for fun. It feels like I gotta force myself to make it.
Writing a book instead is not an option either. It ends up the same, at least it used to back when I would write on wattpad. Also it's difficult for me to describe some of the characters' designs or other things because these designs are heavily fictional as I imagine them. Tho I think it's possible to add a picture in every chapter on wattpad, so I could put a drawing before each chapter to describe the looks of characters/objects better I guess.
Still, the big issue is that I forget what I wrote after like a few seconds, so I have to read every sentence like 5 times again before I keep writing (even when I'm writing here on Tumblr now, it's really a pain in the ass)
And on the top of it all, barely anyone seems to care about AUs. When I started writing a story on wattpad about what I think could happen after The Showdown, it got lots of attention, and damn it surprised me. But my other story about my AU "Aquastar" also with Dark and Chosen got very little attention. It has less chapters, but the writing is as bad as in my story that got so much attention. I feel like people usually care only about what's canon or the closest to being canon, instead of looking towards something new and creative :/
So somebody PLEASE tell me. How can I turn my idea into a story for others to see, without making it a comic, and how to get people interested in it?
(Honesty, turning it into a book sounds like the best option for now but it still would be difficult and take tons of time to finish. So I don't know)
Some of you are closer than you think.
Your book isn’t “far from done”
It’s just:
1. Unrefined
2. Unedited
3. Unstructured
That’s fixable.
The problem is waiting too long to fix it.
Help…
Trying to pick a book cover for my fan fic 😫😫😫
The red/pink one? Or the blue/grey one? No context, choose which one would make you read the fic more!

I remember reading this graphic novel like years and years ago but I can't find it and I only remember like three or four scenes
it's like of this rabbit guy who peeks on this rabbit girl and her friends skinny dipping and falls in love and she tells him he can join them if he can travel the world to somewhere like really far I can't remember what it is and the rabbit tries really hard to do this with a bear friend or something and but he gets sick on a boat and dies and he tells the bear that he's "cold and he doesn't want to go into the cold ocean like what they do with the other people when they die and wants to burn in the furnace to be warm" (very close paraphrasing) so that's what the bear did and then theres like a character who does like knife tricks like swallowing them or throwing them at someone on a wheel and is evil and also the bear is in love with another bear but his like brother or friend or something is also in love with her and he attacks him with a knife (might be the knife guy?) and once the fight is over the bear steps away and the other guy ends up being stabbed by his own knife and dies and the girl the bear is horrified and hates him and that's all I remember. dude please
Need help finding a book I read when I was too young to appreciate it-this would be early ‘00s
Girl was overweight and wanted to get with her crush so got a job delivering cheesecakes by bike, assuming it’d help her lose weight.
Instead she ends up eating a lot of cheesecake and dating the baker who likes her as she is, with kittens.
Help.
