Azarignion is looking for builders!
Are you good at building in Minecraft? Want to work on bringing a fantasy roleplay server to life? Are you skilled with Axiom and/or WorldEdit? (Or want to learn?)
Azarignion might have a spot open for you!
I'm looking for builders of many kinds to help with making the world of Azarignion. This will be a long-term project, with the goal of hosting a roleplay server with the finished world.
Interested? More details are below the cut!
Yo if anyone knows a generator that can make buttons plzzzzz lemme know. I'm not a pixel artist or an animator and I wanna mass produce them so a website would be very helpful :'3
Okay, uh, looking for some advice/help. I might delete this later it's making me nervous just to write this out
Is there anyone who can help me explore fictionkin/otherkin/otherhearted/related concepts? I had an identity crisis at work in which I realized this big hole and instability in my identity I've been feeling for a long while has to do with fictional characters. Like, I'm a transmasc person who's in no way comfortable with being feminine or referred to with feminine terms, but sometimes I have this deep inexplicable yearning to be a woman, and for a long time I wasn't really sure why, but it all just clicked today when I realized I don't want to be a woman in those moments, I want the womanhood of specific female characters who I've felt deeply connected to. I want their joy and happiness in femininity so badly. I just read about the xenogender Kingender and it sounds so close to what I'm experiencing, but I'm not sure if I'm otherkin or otherhearted or nothing like that at all. I don't know how to figure it out, so any help with navigating this would be deeply appreciated.
It’s been years.
I want to be a trans man.
But I don’t know that my heart can handle it.
I have a bad heart, already.
Maybe it’s just not in my cards.

Anyone can weigh in on this, but I'm especially looking for people who aren't white to give their perspective, ESPECIALLY Indigenous people.
What do you all think of fantasy cultures that take inspiration from a broad range of real world cultures?
I like to think about ecology and material culture and how they affect world building, so an idea I've entertained for a long time and want to start really digging into is a fantasy country with a Mediterranean climate, taking inspiration from Mediterranean climates across the world. This means not only countries around the Mediterranean sea, but also parts of California, Chile, South Africa, and southwest Australia. It's a relatively rare climate, so I thought synthesizing my inspirations seemed doable.
HOWEVER. A lot of those inspirations are colonized land, and I don't want to fall into the "generically Indigenous" trap (bc of course I'd be looking to the native people of those lands). Ideas for how to avoid that? Do I need to narrow my scope? Also good research starting points are welcome, especially for southwest Australia.
