VTM Inktober 2020 - Day 08 - Illustration of Manuel Mezonzo, Clan Tremere. Manuel Mezonzo, is part of a unique House Tremere that can be found in my Chronicle of Vigo by Night ´95, The House Godhar. In the World of Darkness of my Chronicle, the Tremere often carry the sin of their creation and are normally viewed with distrust, by some players. The Godhar House has managed to take advantage of the trips in Time of the Coterie and they have changed the Present from being a minor house, to the right hand of Tremere himself. In the city of Vigo, Manuel Mezonzo, Childe of the Founder of House Godhar, is the effective and efficient Seneschal who performs his duties with the precision of a surgeon. In addition, Mezonzo is the Regent of the Godhar Chapel in the olive city. The musician Paavo Lötjönen (@apocalyptica_paavo) (from the band Apocalyptica @apocalypticaoffcial) has served as inspiration for the character. Inked with Fineliner Staedler (numbers 0.8, 0.6, 0.4, 0.2 and 0.05). Chinese Windsor & Newton ink for the illustration wash technique. Gouache Talens white for corrections and mist effect. Mask with Schimncke masking liquid. Reservations with washitape. Primogen Bijou of Nosferatu, primogen Sam Shaper of Tremere, sheriff Victoria of Ventrue, prince Clemence Corday (ancillae) of Toreador, seneschal Lionel Hopesworth (ancillae) of Malkav, Alva Nachtigal (ancillae) of Tremere and Elysium-keeper Quetzal of Tremere. 👉 One of the reasons that Dead River Company impresses me is the fact that they consciously work with gender-equality. Everyother ancillae-character they accept has to be non-male, a rule that encourages male larpers the encourage female larpers to apply for older, more powerful roles, and also gives the chronicle a slower pace and allowing the game to not escalate too fast. Not to forget: it also encourages the rest of the larpers (ca 20 - 30 people/larp) to work with their characters and acting on a more stable ground. The picture was taken after the premiere-larp for the term, showing all characters with an official title or an age above neonate, and it is a joy to see so many female and non-binary larpers in influental, powerful roles. All but the ages have in-game reasons for their positions and it is humbling to be part of such a wonderful larp-chronicle 👌❤ *

I have Completed another card :D. It’s good to have just projects like these around to do when you have “no where else to go” so to speak. Already thinking of re-doing some older ones XD
