Aside from excited chats/DMs, no.
How much editing do you do before you publish?
I like to publish drafts to AO3 before I post them. I get a fresh look at what I’ve written, which makes it easier to pick out mistakes. I usually read through 3-4 times. I also like to have beta readers, particularly if the fic is written for an exchange.
How do you decide what to write about?
Well, generally, it’s about whichever two fictional idiots I’m obsessed with at the moment. Then it’s just--whatever trope or genre hits me. Sometimes, it’s reactionary to an episode of TV, where I just need something to happen but I know it won’t actually happen on the show. (I’m looking at you, The 100.)
Do you listen to music when you write?
Sometimes. I like to have something in the background when I write. If I need to concentrate, it’s music. If I’m not on a deadline and can write at whatever speed, I put something like Property Brothers on.
When do you write?
Generally, in the afternoon while the toddler naps; if I don’t allow myself to get distracted, I probably write best at night.
How often do you write?
Not as often as I should. Not as often as I’d like to have a habit of writing.
Do you take requests?
Always!
Is there any genre or type of story you want to write but are hesitant to?
What I most want to write, but haven’t summoned the necessary motivation or confidence to do so, would be long fic.
Any inspirational quotes, videos, tricks, articles, etc. that help you stay motivated?
Deadlines. Of course, by “deadlines,” I mean, “I can only write under pressure; I am a mess of a human.”

1: sexuality headcanon - pansexual as hell.2: otp - Remadora for-fricking-ever. First conscious OTP I ever had. OTP that got me into fandom and fic and whatnot. OTP that probably should’ve convinced me to stay the hell out of all of that. OTP that sorta directly saved fourteen-year-old me from killing herself. FORMATIVE INFLUENCE DOESN’T EVEN COVER THOSE BABES OKAY??3: brotp - Tonks as den mother for the younger girls (Hermione + Ginny + Luna because Luna deserves all the loves) makes me happy.4: notp - never bothered to have one for her??5: first headcanon that pops into my head - she really does try to be calm most of the time. No he is so good as Charles don't get me wrong and he's so insightful talking at interviews about him as well I love it so much. but he's also an enormous /dork/ it's just how are you doing this man? yeees, I did know that, and thank goodness he got it I can't see anyone else doing it the way he has (though I didn't know how he introduced himself at the audition, committed to the part, I like it)
No I gotcha, and I agree. He’s a real cutie :D And he does get charles really well. I’m in awe every time I read or see an interview by him. And he gets SO excited about everything too, probably the liveliest member of the cast! He mentioned that he’s been wanting to play a pirate for the longest time and when this part came along, he knew he just had to get it. And get it he did!
Luke Arnold actually originally auditioned for Vane, not Silver. But when the casting folks took Zach in as Vane, Luke got Silver. And they’re honestly so perfect in their respective roles, I’m happy the casting is soooo flawless :)))
It’s funny because I feel Vane would do something really similar, just walk in with his seething self confidence and be like, this part rightfully belongs to ME, no question about it, so hand it over ;) AND he would get away with it too lol

Did you know for his audition, he just walked in and went, “Hi my name is Zach McGowan and I’m Charles Vane.” And finding out that the casting people didn’t want any American actors for the show, he faked a British accent throughout the process. It was only later that they found out he was American, but they were so blown away by him he got the part :D
