But I’m bisexual in the same way a human is a fish.

Growing up I discovered I was different in a way that baffled me. I came to realize people pretend to like or think or feel things even when they don’t because they believe they are supposed to! They start thinking that they must conform to social expectations. 

I get some people need labels to feel secure. But if you are suppressing and limiting your interests or talents, hiding your feelings, and denying who you are to be who you are “supposed” to be that’s tragic. You aren’t defining yourself through a chosen role, you are redefining yourself. 

I am convinced that whatever catagories you chose to hang on yourself there are going to be places you don’t tick all the boxes of what those labels are “supposed” to mean. 

All of us.

 Take woman that loves engines or man that loves flowers...they are still a woman or a man. We are NOT generalized monoliths. 

We are all specific individuals!
