I got to hang out with my cousin [4] lots these past couple of days, and so I've finally thought of a name for his avatar: Uro (as in ウロウロ, a sfx for wandering around) 🤗🤗🤗 . This boy, for reals, CAN'T STAND STILL, and not in a bouncing-off-the-walls sort of way, but he just paces back and forth or sways on the spot whenever, wherever... in a spacey sort of way... 😑

Space cadet, was meant to do this last night and Green Day tonight, but whatever. The thing I love about AC/DC's 2000 album, Stiff Upper Lip, is the emphasis on blues rock is difficult to find in its contemporaries. A lot of their earlier work was based in that same style, with a healthy kick of crunchy rock and roll to balance it out, and after a quarter century it's awesome to see the band go back and show they can still do that so well. A longer release at 47 minutes, it starts strong, crescendos to a peak in the middle, and leaves you wanting more at the end, which is a real accomplishment for a band in the game that long. Highly recommended. Highlight tracks include the title track, Meltdown, Can't Stand Still, Can't Stop Rock And Roll, and Give It Up. Available on iTunes and Spotify. Feeling surprisingly good midweek, even with minimal sleep and a few personal things on my mind.
