As we close the first quarter of 2018 and step into resurrection Sunday tmr, I’m expectant if what my Lover the King of kings has in store for me. // in other news - my first drawing on the @procreateapp using my new iPad Pro & Apple Pencil, preparing for @30daysofbiblelettering starting tmr. *excitement ensues* I’ve always adored @stefankunz & @andrearhowey’s works and how they have impacted the Christian and typography community - and am looking forward to a fruitful month using @stefankunz’s grids as a guide.

community • thankful for all the people I've been placed with in my life this season - it's not been easy transiting for both work and ministry, but I'm thankful for the people I get to do it with, and the ones who laugh, minister, and eat together with. Thankful for a supportive, open and caring community with such open leadership for both work & ministry. While I'm thankful for the short break, I'm also looking forward to greater days ahead with the relationships forged :) // photos include the @nccgenrev dream team leaders, #genrevymgcg at CG and BS, awesome pa+ch (it's been 10 years!), colleagues new & old, and our new school culture we forge ahead with - thanks colleagues who captured the moment and supported us with smiles and waves today! :)

worship // Chains will break as we sing of His glory, grace and finished work! // thankful to have spent Sunday after service with this family, jamming into His presence and beholding Jesus together! :) here's to more times of refreshing! 🎉

word // As His word is preached, His name exalted, the earth shall shake and tremble in amazement and awe of His coming. // surprised and loved by how much more I have gleaned and received from the Proverbs of the day. What I used to write on post-its on my room door now speak to me in pictures - how limitless is His word to speak to us in every situation! #loved

guarding my heart // of all the dreams, hopes and desires, there’s always that piece of me that’s the hopeless dreamy romantic, that gets lost in musicals and the vocals which voice the story in beautiful chorus. Let Your peace guard my heart and still my soul even as the soundtrack of this movie I’m expectant of goes on loop in the jam to AST.

word // For You alone deserve all glory For You alone deserve all praise Father we love You And we worship You this day // always awesome to serve in the House, especially on Vision Sunday - to see how a smile invokes a smile and how lives are hungry for the Word of God. Thanks @ger.jlhs for opening the opportunity to serve and all those I served with today - especially getting to catch up with @onegrainofsand - been eons we served in the same thing but greater things ahead! :)

It's been 4 years since I last sought the Lord for a personal word for the coming year. But way before the 130 days in 2018 before I turn 30, He has loved me so to drop His word into my heart over the December period. For me to be joyous, to abide in Him, to be a child again and trust in Him fully. I'm excited to see where You lead, Love. Hopefully I do manage to complete the #30by30 but no more #1000gifts - you'll see me revert to the theme on the profile, thanks to Ps Mark's WWG closure to 2017 yesterday. :)

2017 may not have been a year of Jubilee to me on the surface, but I know with firm confidence that the Lord has sown seeds for many more years of Jubilee to come. The best nine does no justice to the wonderful things the Lord has spoken to my soul, neither does it show how richly I'm blessed by the ones He has placed into my life. Yea, there may be bittersweet closures to a number of seasons at the same time, but one thing I know - the Lord is always faithful. 10th year of serving, 7th year of teaching, and kneeling at the altar 9 years after my first (non-adventure) church camp, You still embrace my heart and captivate my soul with Your Love. // I cried so much last week the moment the children came on stage - not just because they were cute - but You spoke deep into my soul, "That's how I see you, my child; my darling, you'll always be a little girl I dote and cherish - simply let Me love you." // In a year of seeming disappointments and endless tears, You take every tear and turn them into diamonds as I step into a new year of being embraced by Your Love.

what a service to end the year! thankful for all the amazing and even heartbreaking things that took place this year (which I firmly believe the Lord will DEFINITELY restore). Amazed at Ps Mark's message and the tag I ran for a while on this account, how similar they are and how thankful I am to be in this community of #genrevymgcg & @genrevwelcometeam, to have each other encourage us in the Lord, guarding our hearts together! Thankful for these ladies (@hisbelovedchristine, @pauish & @arunadaniel who was producing) for walking through journeys together. We came together to serve Him and the kindred spirits that birthed forth are His overabounding gifts in and through us all. A sisterhood that goes through thick and thin with you, that loves you and reminds you constantly of the glorious warrior princesses we are within. Thank you babes for walking through seasons and many more seasons ahead to come! :))
